I watched KnB some years back (as it was released), so it's been pretty long since then.

The only arc I rewatched after completing it was Vs Rakuzan.

Let me jog your memory then

I like how the author came up with him and Murasakibara as a duo, reminds me of the real life NBA guard-big man duos (Kobe-Shaq for example) where you got the offensively great guard and the dominant big man down low.

Seirin was pretty lucky in the competition

- Murasakibara struggled for a long time to accept his love for basket. I believe if he did it earlier, they'd have won
- Kise was still weakened which didn't allow him to compete in game for long, but was never actually beaten when he was on the court
- There was a lot of friendship power in the game against Akashi

Still haven’t seen their game with Rakuzan but Rakusan was damn sweeping teams outta of the tournament and they had like 3 uncrowned kings or something like that. Top heavy team right there.

Though that ability was too hax, it had to have a drawback(can only use it for few minutes)

Yeah, I stopped somewhere during the Teiko flashback. Akashi and Rakuzan beat Midorima and Shutoko in swift succession from what I remember. Them dudes didn’t hold a candle to Rakuzan

Yup. Iirc the combo almost brought them back, but Akashi deliberately slowed himself down in the first half so that he would surprise Midorima.

You guys remember Haizaki? The poor mans Kise. I thought the author was going to go somewhere when Haizaki was introduced but him having the same ability as Kise, dealing with his teammates like Aomine did to an extent and then getting punched by Aomine to cap it off was underwhelming.

Right, forgot he had that twist to his ability. But he melted down once Kise initiated the perfect copy iirc, so it was all in vain.
