Under the assumption that you just made, there are no examples of what you just described. All you did was name abilities and showed zero examples of any manifestation or characters struggling. You went from it being "manifested from struggles" to "these unexplained powers are infact infant stages of devil fruit". Unexplained powers still aren't what you just described of characters struggling. When did we see Fishmen struggle, Minks struggle, etc.
I never said they had to be manifested from struggles. I just gave a possible scenario of a strong desire, through a struggle.
We will go back to Zoro. He desires to be the strongest Swordsman. Asura is an ability that clearly takes him to another level of strength as a swordsman, by allowing him to utilize a Nine Sword style of fighting. If that is indeed the route that Oda is going with Asura, then clearly it's not something that just manifests in the blink of an eye. It takes time.

- Saul being alive is an age old theory for Elbaf lol. Many people didnt think Aokiji would kill him.
- it did not lose importance. Ohara is dead. Her people are gone. Shes the only person who can read poneglyphs outside of 3rd eye people. The books do not contain full void century knowledge.
