I'll be honnest I don't have high hopes for any live-action adaptations of shonen mangas, whenever it's in movies or series.

And I don't have any high hopes for any live action adaptations whether it's anime, manga, animated film, or cartoon.

But based on the interviews and everything it does seem like they are really trying their best when it comes to this live action adaptation of One Piece, whether it ends up being good or bad will have to wait and see but for now I'm still keeping my expectations very low.
