I'd say dressrosa didn't like when he splits the mugis in two groups but unlike wci the side characters were pretty good and some of them are in my top 10 and zou was a solid arc
But oda blew up his manga in wano with chapter 1043 till the shitty end of the arc altough egghead is not bad he insists on killing the story(clons,df explanation, saul been alive.....)wich is the principal lore of this manga

This video sums it up back then:

OMG, THIS! Thanks for sharing, the video is pure gold :rolaugh:

Sabaody part 2 was a short and very funny arc for me, overall a good starting arc which also hyped a bit Luffy and co. Good.

Fishman island was so so but still totally worth of being OP. Also it was logic they were still dealing with weak opponents so fights with no threat. Also good that the arc was neither too long nor too short.

Punk hazard was ok too, not gonna make another paragraph. Glad to see Tashigi and Smoker again, also cool that the location was Akainu and Aokiji battlefield.

Dressrosa was good, a bit long maybe but G4 was a good surprise. Also Doffy was a good villain. Maybe too much tontattas.

Zou was good.

WCI. Here. Here it started for real. The yonko BM who should have been a mortal danger become instead a clown who helped the SHs the most. The arc was pretty long and wedddding cake was obnoxious. Then I disliked a lot Luffy staying behind to fight Kata instead of escape with Sanji, Nami and the others. It is exactly because of this that Ace died but Luffy has the thickest plot power. Also, and this was another "delusion", there was chapter 900. Until that point for almost every hundreth chapter there was some kind of milestone, just to mention the most important the post time skip started with chapter 600. Well chapter 900 was the SHs escaping with their ship, half the crew and Sanji back to them and also the road poneglyph of BM plus Luffy defeated 2 of her commanders, BM regained her sense and started to sing, that was the moment were the yonko truly should have shown her power and repaid Luffy tenfold for all the plot power he get in the arc (also the infamous tametabakko, explosive from FI), chapter 899 ended with the sunny seemingly destroyed... Chapter 900 revealed that that actually was the ship of the sun pirates. Also maybe the first big case of fake tension.

Anyway for sure here in this arc it started to sink for good.

Then Wano, way too long, plot points not concluded, Luffy died several times vs Kaido... But instead he unlocked the Jesus fruit. So destiny and all the shitty takes I disliked in Naruto. So it died here for good.
Yep, I can totally agree, if we need to pinpoint the exact moment - it will be in WCI, with Wano being a culmination of bad. Unironically, I remember lurking forums, seeing people being really hype for "Zoro arc", and at that moment I had a bad feeling about Wano, so at least when it finally started, I was more vary than at the beginning at WCI which I personally was hyped for.

I think it's not One Piece's fault. The story is made for children but it lasted longer than any childhood, we mature and change, I'm sure that the 14-year-old me would find it incredible that Luffy had the fruit of the legendary God, today I just think the author is cheesy and lazy.
Not his fault, he gets like 2 hours of sleep each day iirc
or hell it might have been 2 hours broken up into 20 minutes each time..
Also Luffy still had to train for about 12 years to awaken that fruit and awakening it required him dying under specific circumstances.
He was revived a few chapters ago when Vegapunk was talking about Saul taking the Ohara books to Elbaf
And is that supposed to be bad or?

I personally read one piece bc i find the world building(many factions, islands, pirates marines etc..) and the characters very interesting. I never thought of it as a writing masterpiece. Now having said that, problem with post timeskip is that its mediocre (saying its bad is an exaggeration). Like fishman island should have been a 5-10 chapters arc at most. Punk hazard was just okay, nothing fancy. Dressrosa was actually pretty good. I get why many people got tired of it by the end(and rightfully so) but it had many good elements. Fishman island the same as punk hazard, just okay. And finally wano... Wano really pushed me at my very limits. Aside of the rooftop battle and the nika reveal chapter, everything else was so fucking mediocre-bad. I never thought of stop reading one piece but after wano i started reconsider my view towards the manga. Egghead is lit though, definitely my favorite arc post-timeskip. If oda get his shit together and continue as such, i will forgive him for the wano debacle.

After skypea... Not saying I did not like it after that... I enjoyed until fishman Island... But I could see the change after every arc ended after that.
But the marineford is a masterpiece
Wano is a garbage
