@Seth not to start a religious debate or go off topic (it’s nevertheless a political thread) but I would be interested what your faith is? Are you religious or just believe in a God? Or faithless? You’re from Poland if I remember it correctly.
just a short answer is enough

Agnostic atm. Was raised in a cheerful and respectful Catholic environment. ( I mention cheerful and respectful since there are extremist families, I was lucky to be raised in such a chill environment ).

Those were warriors and heroes to some extent. I'm a gray citizen.
God neither stands in the way of science or for organised religion
Not a single prophet supported the states of the temples etc. and God is against the people who use his name for bad deeds. God even warns us from them.
But I understand your point. Some people had traumatic experiences and associate this pain with God because the religions presented it as such
It’s just sad
Analyse for a moment what I do:
- I promote pedagogy over a political subject
- I reply to people
- I call out the toxicity of those who are harmfull
Nothing is bad promo here. The only thing that I "enhance" is the fact that I don't miss a single post but beside that I'm really just a normal leftist.

And those 'bad people' you mentioned would use god for what they think are'good deeds' aka killing non believers, doing horrible things to children etc
When a person's sole experience with religion are horrible and traumatic they won't take their time to consider that there may be good religious people.
And they have zero obligations to do so.
So please don't feel offended when somebody makes ablunt statement such as 'I hate god' .
You don't know these people's past.
I think you are a reasonable person who is understanding of people's struggles and suffering.
So please don't take such statements personally
I understand that not everything is bright, but even in darkness you can find something worth living for. That's what I mean by "life".
