Alright so Aizen just declared himself the king of Heaven and got rescued by the Menos,

Okay, so we have to talk about Aizen and his whole reveal. I really don’t think this reveal was set up all that well. I don’t really ever recall hearing that the council of 46 even existed until it was time to reveal that Aizen had killed them all. Maybe I am misremembering but I feel like by the time I had met them, I was learning that Aizen had killed them. As far as I can tell, the only thing even remotely hinting that Aizen was going to be a villain was the fact that Rukia’s execution orders kept changing. Which the fact that there were so few hints isn’t necessarily a bad thing, I’m all for a good shock villain reveal.

My problem is that because there was so little foreshadowing Aizen being a villain, it felt less to me like Titty had this planned from the start, and more like Titty just retroactively came up with this development to patch up some of the plot holes that he created by accident. For example, Rukia’s execution schedule arbitrarily changing up until this point really didn’t make any sense at all, and I’m surprised none of the captains questioned why it changed now that I’m looking back on it. Like it changed with zero explanation and everyone was just like “okay”. Lol

Also I don’t think it was explained from Aizen’s perspective why the execution time was changed at all? Maybe I just missed this.

Okay so anyway, Aizen is too powerful. He is straight up nonsensically strong. Man neg diffed two Captain Bankai’s without even using his Shikai. As I read this shit, I could just feel my hatred for Ichigod swelling up as I’m realizing how stupid Ichigo is about to become in order to fight this guy.

And the greatest irony in all of this? Despite Iceboi and Big Bad Wolf’s Bankai getting negged, given the choice, I was still prefer those two’s Bankai to trash ass Ichigod’s Bloodborne weeb cosplay Bankai. And again, I didn’t even see any moves from there Bankai and I’m still that confident that they have cooler Bankai than Ichigod.

Alright what else…

Byakuya was cool again. Not that he was ever not cool but his fight with Ichigod was so lame that I had sort of lost interest in him. But him saving RUkia is a great opportunity for some more development on his part. I guess now that he knows that Rukia’s execution was just a conspiracy plot to steal her Dark Soul (Lord Gwyn shivers), now he’s feeling like he can stop it. Which is good.

I wish we could’ve seen more from Kyoraku and White Hair Cough Cough’s fight with Yamamoto. Yama had them both bleeding so dude seems strong as fuck. I wonder if he could push Ichigod to mid diff?

So now with Rukia’s execution just being a conspiracy, the stage is set for Ichigod to become the Soul Reaper messiah and for all the captains to accept him as an ally or whatever. I can see why this arc was such a big deal at the time as Ichigod becoming a potential Soul Society hero is just classic Shonen.

Anyway. On to the next one.
Oh, you diving into Bleach. Nice.

Finally finished the Soul Society Arc, aye? :myman:

Well in that case you have now witnessed the best that Bleach has to offer. So you can now go forth with that thought in your head.:risicheck:

So you are on the Arrancar Arc now? Well you are going to be up for some notable highs and some really, really, really big lows.

Also, remember how long the Soul Society Arc was? About 130 chapters or so? Well this arc is about twice as long. :shame:

Anyway, my bet is on Barragan being your favourite Espada. :datas:

Like I said, I can already sense Ichigod finishing this arc as a fucking deity. Lol
:beanmean:

Wait what? That was the end of the arc? Wow okay, props to Titty for not having Ichigod defeat Aizen as the arc’s finale I guess lol. I’ll have to do a full post on the arc I guess.
I mean, I thought you said the Menos just rescued Aizen?.... Ah shit you didn't mention them taking away Aizen. Lol. My bad. :catsweat:

Yeah, Aizen would neg diff Ichigo right now so Ichigo isn't doing shit to him.

There will be like a couple of chapter aftermath after this Aizen scene and when Ichigo goes back to the human world, that will be the start of the Arrancar Arc.

Yeah the Menos took Aizen away, I finished all that, I was just expecting Ichigod to beat Aizen as the arc finale I guess lol. Rare moment of restraint from Titty.

Nah, Ichigo vs Aizen comes next arc. That is when Kubo loses all restraint and makes both of them ridiculously overpowered. Lol.

If there is one thing Titty loves wanking more than his protagonist then it is his antagonists. :catsure:

Either Yamamoto or Aizen would neg neg diff post Byakuya fight Ichigo. Probably Shunsui Kyoraku can too, he is kinda like second strongest remaining Captain for the Soul Society after Yamamoto.

But yeah like Owl Ki said, it is going downhill after SS arc ended. Really downhill. But who knows, maybe you will actually like it.

My man you've finished the best part of Bleach. From here it goes downhill. There are still some great hype moments and hype characters to be introduced.

Aizen is the GOAT. The mofo is too strong. You'll see.

I also agree with @Owl Ki that Baraggan will most likely be your fave Espada.

God damn, you guys all agreeing in unison that Bleach dips in quality after this, and I’m still not sure I even like this series yet lmfao.

That is when Kubo loses all restraint and makes both of them ridiculously overpowered.
I should’ve known lmfao. In my experience thus far, Titty only shows restraint when he’s later planning to completely shit the bed with “INFINITE POWER ICHIGO BCDFIJSAK” so this is not good lmfao.

Interesting. You guys said I would like Barragan and @Warchief Sanji D Goat said I would like Yamamamoto and some other MF I haven’t seen yet.

Yamamoto was cool, his full name sounds like Titty ate every letter of the alphabet and shat out the longest most Japanese name of all time lol. Other than that he hasn’t done much yet.

Yeah I’m really not sure who my favorite Soul Society character was…maybe Kenpachi? Maybe Byakuya? Maybe Kyoraku? Idk plenty of cool characters but none of them elevated to my clear favorite I guess.

Indeed, Kubo goes Full Titty on Aizen throughout the whole arc and goes into Titty Overdrive with Ichigo vs Aizen. :sanmoji:

All the aforementioned however is nothing compared to the Turbo Titty that is Yhwach. Before Yhwach, Kubo only shat the bed. With Yhwach, Kubo shat all over the entire bedroom apartment. :mihugh:

That sentence describes Yamamoto's entire screen presence. :milaugh:

As for his name, I remember there being a famous real life WW2 Japanese naval admiral called Yamamoto. So it is a genuine Japanese name. Lol.

What do you think about:
- Kenpachi vs Komamura and Tosen
-Yoruichi vs Soifon
I think both were pretty good.

Yeah, Komamura the Wolf's bankai is cool. The downside is whatever damage inflicted to the Giant (easy target), Komamura suffers it too. Kinda discounted version of Pica's devil fruit.
Oh shit I missed this lol. My B.

Hm, Kenpachi vs black man and big bad Wolf was cool, I gave more thoughts on it in one of my mass tag posts. I 100% called how Kenpachi was going to defeat black man.

Yoruichi vs Soifon, ima be honest I didn’t care at all lol. It wasn’t bad for sure but I doubt that’ll be a fight I remember.

Big Bad Wolf’s Bankai seemed like it would be hype but iirc Titty cut away and never actually showed the thing fight lol.

Yeah but he only gets one fight and it is ruined by the fact Yhwach is involved because Yhwach is Wack.
I remember the days at Bleach Asylum forums (good old days) when people were waiting for 605-608 spoilers, Bleach fans were just fed up with Yhwach's infinite resource for asspulls and were satisfied to see him getting ragdolled around (although for a short time) by a fat goofy Santa soul reaper.

The reason why it was more satisfying than Yamamoto vs Yhwach is because:

1. Ichibe was actually bodying the real Yhwach lol, not Royd. It was also the first time ever one of Titty's big boys (Yhwach/Aizen) was put in a hopeless situation before fighting Ichigod.

2. Yhwach's stealing power technique (Sankt Altar) bullshit actually failed to steal Ichimonji, this was a satisfying moment because Quincy were basically going "hurr durr, your Zanpakuto is mine!" throughout the arc.

3. Ichibe was basically fighting Titty himself towards the end with the almighty fuckery, somehow Titty made Bankai stealing look like brilliant writing in comparison.

Ichibe's short-lived badassery was a breath of fresh air in the godforsaken TYBW arc, and hopefully the anime can do him justice.

@Blackbeard screw it. The real Bleach ending is

Ichibei was the true hero of Bleach all along. :catsweat:

Also, you might want to put the rest of that post behind a spoiler wall. We surely don't want to ruin the TYBW "surprises" that will hit Lee like a runaway train.
Ichibe fought the almighty then dipped ever since for what remains of the story knowing that it's going downhill, he was a war potential solely for his wisdom after all. :madmonk:

I still believe Soul King was supposed to end as the main villain and kill his son at some point with the Royal Guard serving as secondary antagonists, especially with the "can't fear your own world" novel revealing their sinister intentions + dark background of Soul Society's Central 46 and its general tyrannical evil system.

It's sad that Kubo was forced to rush the story, it could've been way different than what we got.

Alright so I just finished the, let’s call it the prelude to Arrancar arc I assume. And there were aspects of this mini arc that I enjoyed and aspects that were a disappointment.

For one, Ichigo’s father apparently being a powerful soul reaper. This is one of those moments to me that felt like Titty was trying to rectify past writing mistakes. “Ichigod is overpowered as shit with no explanation? Um…well guess what! Ishiin is actually a mega powerful soul reaper so strong that he can neg diff Arrancar Grand Fisher even after he hasn’t seen action in two decades. Makes sense right?” Not really. I suspected that Ishiin knew about some of the magical shit going on but there was zero hints that this MF was secretly an OP Soul Reaper. It’s fine I guess, I’d rather there be an actual explanation for Ichigod’s stupid power level.

Next, those two Arrancar showing up to wreck shit was really hype at first, until they accomplished absolutely nothing. They just called everyone trash and then ran away without accomplishing their objective because apparently “Ichigo is so weak that we have decided that we can defy orders and override Aizen’s wishes”

Did these dumbasses not receive intel that Ichigod defeated two Soul Reaper Captains in single combat and also possesses Bankai? I might buy the explanation that Captain + level Soul Reaper are “trash” to these two if White Boi didn’t retreat under the explicit pretext that they couldn’t win against Kisume and Yoruichi after watching big black man get tossed around like salad by Yoruichi.

“Ichigod is trash lol we’re going to defy your orders Aizen, we’ve decided there’s no need to kill the guy who defeated Byakuya and Kenpachi and who achieved the ultra rare Bankai ability in three fucking days, oh but also we ourselves are going to run away from two characters in the same level as those other two guys who Ichigod defeated. Please congratulate us on our mega brains”

If there’s one thing that annoys me as much as Ichigod’s divinity, it’s other characters acting like Ichigod’s divinity is nothing special when the man went from Soul Reaper third seat level to high Captain tier in like 3 freaking days.

On to the next one.

I was personally pissed about the reveal because I actually liked Grand Fisher. Lol.

He was the best part of and had the best fight with Ichigo in the Agent of the Shinigami arc, he was the only legitimately dangerous Hollow, he had a cool array of abilities and back then I was genuinely expecting him and Ichigo to fight once more in what was going to be some kind of emotional showdown where Ichigo finally avenges his mother.

Nope, smeggin negged by Isshin who doesn't even know who the fuck he is. Lel. Thanks Titty.

Also, just wait till you see the rest of Ichigo's bloodline. :beanmean:

Aye, my brain was probably switched off for this scene cause I was bored stiff by it.

I remember my first thought being "Oh, they just did a Vegeta/Nappa style entrance. You should probably stop referencing a better series Kubo, it just makes yours look worse."

My next thought was "Boy, this whole scenario sure is reminding me of the last arc. I really hope this doesn't become some running meme theme."
