Write-Ups -

Game Style -
  • Traditional Setup - This game will prominently feature an uninformed majority against an informed minority.
  • Semi-Closed Setup - The list of characters potentially present in the game is public. However, no other information about the setup of this game will be revealed in the game thread until the game has ended.
  • Closed Communication - After reception of their role PM, players will not be allowed to discuss it outside of the game thread or during Night phases, except as specifically dictated in individual Role PMs.
  • Open Claiming - This game will feature restrictions on neither role claiming nor character claiming, except as specifically dictated in individual Role PMs. That being said, I advise caution.
  • Day Start - This game will begin with a Day phase. The SoD/EoD deadline will be 20CET. I will try my best to keep the deadlines consistent.
  • Plurality Lynch - The player with the most votes at the end of the Day phase will get lynched. In the event of a tie, one of the tied players will get lynched at random. No-lynch is an option. In the latter stages of the game, a hammer option will be available to the players if accepted.
  • Quasi-Dusk - In this game, each Day phase will officially end as soon as the 48/24 hours deadline is reached. A Dusk phase will not be officially recognized, and players may continue discussing in the game thread until the next Night phase begins, however, day actions and voting sent after the Day phase has ended but before the next Night phase has begun will be ignored unless specified otherwise in your role PM. Vote counts will be provided throughout each day as well as a final one once a day ends, however they may not reflect the actual vote values.
  • Phase Length - The game is divided into cycles. Each cycle consists of 2 phases, a day phase, and a night phase. Each phase will last 24 hours, with the exception of the first few day phases. If you do not post or send an action within the time limit, I reserve the right to replace you.
Rules -
  • Do not, under any circumstances, reveal any information to any player regarding this game if you are no longer alive.
  • Do not quote Private Messages from me or others; paraphrase. Replacing second-person pronouns with first-person pronouns does not count as paraphrasing.
  • Do not edit your posts; double post if necessary. Typos are not that big of a deal. Continuous failure to comply will result in severe punishment, including modkills if it is abused to cheat. Take this as your only warning.
  • Vote towards a lynch by typing Vote lynch <name>, where <name> is the name of the player you are voting for. You do not need to type Unvote, or [Change] alongside a newer vote. I will always accept votes even with a wrong format as long as I see it, however, it is not my responsibility if I miss them by mistake. Failure to vote results in nothing but shame. Please do not tag me when voting or unvoting, it is unnecessary as I have to read every post already.
  • You must post at least 5 times per day phase. Failure to comply will result in a warning and a mod-block at the first offence. A second failure will result in a forced substitution. If you think you might not be able to meet the requirement at any given phase, please let me know in advance and you will not be affected by the repercussions. Note that posts made for the sole purpose of meeting this requirement will not be considered.
  • If you believe that I have made a mistake, please address the issue with me via Private message. This goes for questions to the hosts as well, anything addressing the host should be sent through role PMs, do not tag me to respond to questions in the thread. If needed, I will make an announcement to clear up any misunderstandings. Save any other comments for after the game.
Gameplay -
  • There are two levels of kills present in this game - Regular and Super. Regular kills can be stopped by roleblocking the killer or protecting the victim. They consume one life from roles with multiple lives. Superkills bypass regular defenses, role-blocks, bonus lives and can not be redirected.
  • There are two levels of protection present in this game - Regular and Super. Regular protection will stop regular kills, while Super protection will stop regular kills and super kills, as well as downgrade the nature of a hostile attack (ex: Rolecrush becomes a Roleblock).
  • Most actions will receive write-ups, some will not. Attempted kills will always appear in the write-up, regardless of the reason for failure. Alignments colors will not be revealed in an action write-up.
  • Abilities with limited use are expended upon activation. For example, a one shot can not be used a second time even if the ability failed.
  • At night, actions are processed at the end of it with priority given to certain abilities based on a normal resolution action order. Some roles may have abilities that affect the order. Regarding the normal resolution action order, a further post will go into more details and provide examples.
  • During the day, actions are processed using the time-stamp of their submission. They are immediately locked once submitted, so please be aware of that. They may not appear immediately in a public write-up as I prefer to wait for a bulk of actions to post publicly at the same time, if you're awaiting results, you may receive them before a write-up appear in the thread.
  • Every role possesses at least one active ability per cycle. There is no limit on active abilities performed per role per phase unless specified in your role PM. However, an ability (limited and unlimited use) can only be used once per cycle, unless specified otherwise.

At the end of last Weebs, the Believers conquered the Abyss and found a way home. They carried the soulless body of their beloved father to the nearbiest temple, in order to preserve the body and honor his very genious life and dream. From then on, the eldest scholars decided to take shifts in protecting said temple with all their heart, until several months passed...
Dark clouds were rising and the Believers shattered across the world, spreading their tales of fear and joy. It seems all over the world, a phenomenom occurs, and so mankind's curiosity looked into the sky. A planetsized human is shoving their hand over the firmament, and with that they open up a massive starry rift. With all force the Believers and other fellow weebs are being absorbed into the rift, with images of their past flashing in front of their very own eyes.

The weebs are finally waking up and ahead of them is a brand-new world, waiting for explorers to touch the unknown. It seems the lingering darkness is bothering the inhabitants of this world and soon you experience the tribulations. A nearby kingdom is looking out for the new otherworldy visitors, in hope to find the one, who has been prophesized by the holy royalty to salvage the world.

This is your journey to the rise - Rise to the top, salvage this world and find a way home! Without you, something might happen to father's body and only hell will forgive you, if something happens to him...

Special Mechanic - The Waves

In this world, you weebs have to face a disturbing force, called "The Waves". You have no second thought, standing alongside allies and enemies. Fight off these waves in order to protect this world and all the inhabitants!

Every new day, during the start of the phase, waves will appear. Those waves are gates to another world and thus they will spawn hostile creatures and persons, that will attack your world, trying to make a conquest out of it. Each wave is linked to an archtype (example: Investigative, Protective, Manipulative, Creative, etc...) and demands 4 weebs with said archtype related abilities to target such a wave in order to defeat it's spawns.
Waves will be assigned with all the neccessary data:

Sample: Waves
Wave #2: Investigative
Target this wave with 4 investigative actions in order to defeat it's spawns.

Sample: Commands
Target Wave #2 with "Investigative action"

You have until the end of the following night, ergo the whole cycle time to submit an action (ability or item) and if enough actions, that target the waves, have been submitted, the waves will be considered defeated.

Not defeating a wave will cause several repercussions, that will be randomized from a pool of possible punishments. A nerf towards all abilities of said archtype or the loss of a fellow weeb at random are possible punishments.

On the other side, defeating a wave successfully will grant all participants a reward in form of currency, sponsored by the holy royalty that rules this world. So, coordinating the actions between the weebs is adviced, in order to maximize the rewards you obtain.

Special Mechanic - The Heroes' Weapons

What would be a hero of the weebs without their weapon? Rumors are saying, that those, fated by god, are allowed to hold a weapon of a true hero. Are you fullfilling the criteria or are you a chosen one? Or will you be one of those, that will end up fighting barehanded?

Players will be able to obtain legendary weapons once a criteria is met for a weapon. Those weapons are inheritable and will remain in the game through any means. There are 2 types of weapons, the Cardinal Weapons and the Vassal Weapons. Having one of those weapons might ease combating the waves, but they also come with general utility, turning their owners into real beasts of mankind. Once the owner of a weapon died and left the game, the weapon will be tossed as a result, ready for take if meeting the conditions!

Special Mechanics - Powergames

Money is power and soon everyone is about to feel this. How you earn your money is left for yourself to decide. But can you keep up with your fellow weebs? Use gambling in order to triumph over the other players and climb up the ladder for the ultimate clout!

During this game, players will be able to participate in multiple gambling games, in order to increase their stocks.
There will be a ranking that will determine your financial power and status. Being at the lower end will yield a disadvantage, but those with wealth will gain more advantages over the poor players.

Starting money
Every player starts the game at D0 with 1.000 gold + 1.000 x dice roll. This starting fee should allow basic interaction with the Powergames and rankings.

Interest
The current setups interest is 100%. This interest can be increased to 1000%, by spending gold to the interest fund. Once per cycle players might spend X.000 gold to the interest fund. Once the interest fund achieves 222.000 gold, the overall interest becomes 1000%. This means the Pay-Out from all mechanics in this game will become tenfold as much.
Sample: Commands
Spend X.000 to interest (fund)
If you follow this or a similair format, then the transaction can be done without any problems.

Rankings
Players in the lower 6 positions will be called "House Pets". Manipulative, Investigative and Preventative abilities used on these players will automatically be Super modified.
Players in the upper 6 positions will be called "House Lords". They will receive a "Council Chat" during the upcomming cycle, after the ranking updates. They will also become immune to Wounds.
Note: The Rankings will be enabled after Night 1.

Gambling Den 1 - Lynches
Players can opt to bet for lynches. This bet has to occur during the night, and you bet on the upcomming day's lynchee, by paying in. Players who correctly guessed the upcomming lynch will share the pool between themselves.
Pay-In: 20.000 gold per participant.
Pay-Out: 200% of the Pay-In pool.
Sample: Commands
Bet 2.000 on "Player Name"'s lynch

Gambling Den 2 - Blank Out
This is a game for 10 players (5v5) and it may last up to 3 cycles, dependig on the traffic.
This game will be played with a RPS deck of 20 cards, containing 11 "Blanks" and 9 "RPS Cards".
-Every player receives 2 cards.
-Before discussion, everyone has to exchange a card with the opponent in front of them, face down
-The other cards get rotated clockwise in your team
-Discussion opens, claims disqualify you
-Players enter versuses with parallel face down plays
-Winning RPS = 3 points
-RPS beats Blank = 1 point
-Guessing Blank = 1 point
-Guessing RPS = 3 points
-Failed guess = points for enemy
-Double Blank = 3 extra points*
*Winning both matches with Blanks gives extra points.
Winning team receives the payout.
Pay-In: 10.000 gold per participant.
Pay-Out: 800% of the Pay-In pool.
Sample: Commands
Exchange "Card"
Play "Card"
Guess "Card"

Gambling Den 3 - Sequence X
A massive RPS FFA for 3 players.
At the start there will be a mixed sequence and a mono sequence selected. Those are forbidden to appear in your submissions.
-Everyone submits a sequence of 20 RPS
-No discussion
-Simultanous resolution
-No 4 of the same choice within 5 RPS
Pay-In: 150.000 gold per participant.
Pay-Out: 150% of the Pay-In pool.
Spectators bet: 1.000 gold on the winner.
Sample: Commands
Submit xzyz...yyxz
Bet 1.000 on "Player Name" win.

Gambling Den 4 - Pot Goblin's Pot o'Greed
The Pot o'Greed is a lottery game, which is autonomously running. It collects points from wagons and players can rig the pot anytime they want.
Once the points reach certain thresholds, players will either get rewarded or punished. Also minigames may appear.
-The pot collects one point for each wagon at the end of a day. A wagon needs atleast 3 votes to be considered a wagon.
-Players can attune abilities or money into the pot. One Arsenal ability = 2 points. 100.000 gold = 1 point.
Sample: Commands
Pay "Ability Name" to Pot.
Pay 10.000 to Pot.

Other Special Mechanics

Additional Rulesets

Role Structure:
Roles have up to 4 sections to them.
-Arsenal: In this section you will keep assigned items and created/traded abilities and items.
-Kit: This section is special to only a few roles. Those roles are living off essentially from this abilities. Kit abilities can't be ability copped, nor created or tossed.
-Role Passives: This section contains your regular passive abilities.
-Role Actives: This section contains your regular active abilities.

Rules of Creation:
For basic creation, you can create any ability you find on forums/wikis/guides.
But I will exclude the possibility to create destructive abilities and revives, aswell as abilities that angle the game through phase shortening or flavour investigations.
For advanced ability creation, for example in events, the same rules will apply. Tho you will be able to create supervised, conditional versions of above restricted abilities.
A restriction is a layer to the ability, that makes it's safe use not guaranteed under normal circumstances.

WriteUp Rules and Shot Depletion:
The Action WU format is consistent - Action Name followed by the Range/Target(s).
Shooting in the dark is allowed. Dummies appear as [???].
Failing actions are proceeded normally through the Write Up, as the shot gets depleted, no matter how the action failed.
However, the shot depletion and the write up may get canceled, if the useage process gets disabled or not even activated.
(e.g.: An ability gets rendered as unuseable/disabled upon useage)
This time, I won't be showing role flavours in the write ups. Activated passives appear in the Write Ups.

New Terms and Abilities:
-Toss (Creative, Manipulative, Investigative): Detaches an ability or item from a target role and adds it to a public pool of tossed abilities. Has a lower priority than gilding.
-Take (Creative): Take an ability from the public pool of tossed abilities and attach it to your role.
-Brittle (Manipulative): A brittled role/ability/item will be tossed upon getting killed. Does not apply on lynches usually. Has a lower priority than Gilding.
-Gilded (Protective): A role/item/ability owning immunities against tossing abilities and other creative/manipulative abilities. Has a higher priority than Brittle or Toss.
-Wound (Destructive, rarely Manipulative): A status ailment that gets the affected killed once they are targetted with another wound. A wound will be applied through regular protections, unless the protection specifies wounds.
Might add more later or if shit comes up.

Special Mechanic - Dummy Roles

This game will contain dummy roles. They might appear in the game under certain circumstances. Dummy roles are fully automated roles that work autonomously. You might not know what dummy roles are present, but their automated actions will appear in write-ups. You have the ability to target dummy roles with your actions, in order to do so you will have to use an action on the flavour name of the dummy role.
Enjoy the chaos, enjoy the support, or maybe, hunt them down?

A New Dawn!

After their arrival, the Weebs started to settle down in this new world, ready to explore it with enthusiasm. They are all aware that once a new day breaks, new challenges will also chase them. Now spending the night in a nearby village, the Weebs find themselves quickly outnumbering the villagers. Together they settle down into Isekai Town, in order to strengthen and ready their forces. Can this very town maybe become a kingdom in future? A kingdom of glory and peace? Or will it crumble to inner conflict?

During Day 0 no abilities may be used, except specifically designed abilities, that will come with unique write ups.
Also: There will be a lynch during D0, the lynch format is MANDATORY. It means you have to vote and find a player to lynch. Beyond that, normal plurality voting rules apply. Players that don't vote by the end of D0 will automatically have a vote cast on themselves.
Everything will turn back to normal once D1 starts! Enjoy!

D0 is starting! You have a bit less than 72 hours to discuss and lynch!

[Absolute Neutrality] has been activated!

Every player has to reply to the request of signing for Absolute Neutrality!
It means you swear to not rig games and play gambles accordingly to fairness and social equality. Sign "Yes" or "No" to Absolute Neutrality in your role PM. Abstaining is not an option!
