I think whoever ESC is gets the most voted ability, if they are scum then you would just hand them a writeup rewrite/edit ability.

Not really, if town establishes a consensus pool of lynch candidates prior to the night its fine.

We dont even know if the user of the tourneys ability is town or not, for all we know what we are voting for is what they will get as an ability. Id rather give them an extra lynch in case a town dies. Worst case scenario they never use it and its a wasted ability if they are scum. If they are town then thats good for us.

My games have abilities like those who seemingly seems ok but have darker effects behind them Im not fully trusting this hence why handing them a night lynch is a win win scenario for whatever they are. If they are town they will use it, if they are scum they wont and its a wasted ability on them.

Better be safe than sorry.
