I agree. I don't see S-Hawk using the fruit much for offensive purposes, so it's kinda redundant. But I think it's added for durability purposes. Zoro already got past the Lunarian defense, so Oda's only option is to give him a tougher defense.

Kuma = Mihawk is a better option.
