In one piece, it's always that we get hyped or care of info outside the arc...... Then when we reach that arc.. We again wait for other outside information.... Someone should send this analysis to oda.... :josad:

And no, Oda isnt having Kid defeat literally the oldest character in the series sans Luffy, the same character who is an endgoal for Luffy. And the same character who is featured on every single ToC of a volume since the beginning of the narrative.

Oda's is pushing Kidd to higher relevancy is a good thing.

Otherwise, why the tease between Kidd and Saint Shanks for many years now.

-Saint Shanks cutting off Kid's arm
- Kidd creating an alliance to take down Saint Shanks
- Kidd meet Saint Shanks at Elbaf again.

There's no use for this much tease and buildup for the fight if it's isn't led to Saint Shank's defeat

You actually think that Saint Shanks who had way more build up as a character, and is way more important to the story is going to lose to Kid?

Oda has some plan for Saint Shanks in the future, and if he wants to Oda can have Luffy fight Saint Shanks.

Also as a reminder that Oda likes Saint Shanks.

Will Kid be able to hold his own against Saint Shanks for a bit? Yeah sure, but will he end up defeating him? Yeah no that isn't going to happen.

Stop pushing this nonsense. Theres no comparison between BM, embarrassment to Yonkos and Saint Shanks/Blackbeard.

You entirely know this is true. BM became irrelevant to Luffy the moment Katakuri was defeated and she was embarrassed.
