This fandom first mistake is thinking Kid vs Shanks is the same as Law vs BB

theory is in some ways luffy would be able to negate the effects of his vibration fruit
but there's absolutely nothing that should stop BB from negating luffy's df with contact.
if he's awakened
might not even need contact.
as with all fights , luffy will need to find another solution (not gear 5) to beat him .
rarely ever uses the same form to beat two major opponents consecutively.

When people were discussing G5 power level and etc... I was hooked in an instant that Luffy will no sell Yami effects.
