Eustass Kidd was defeated without ever seeing/meeting Shanks, and his arm was cut off as well. In this story, it is not clear who cut off Kidd's arm, but from the dialogue of Eustass Kidd and his crew members, it is mentioned that they hate Ben Beckman so it is most likely that Ben Beckman is the one who cut off Kidd's hand

Marco's AP is arguably higher than Katakuri's and he uses special flames that may have countered Kings flames.

Marco and Katakuri are in the same tier of power, they should have comparable AP. And this was a Marco who had already had an extended fight with Big Mom and was fighting King and Queen simultaneously. He would do much better fighting King purely 1v1 and fresh like King was.

Bro, King’s flames are not what makes him durable. When King’s flames are on, King’s body becomes more durable but countering King’s flames themselves would have nothing to do with injuring him.

And besides, Marco didn’t attack King with his flames, he knee’d him.
