All the powerscaling shit aside....Luffy and Zoro humanely interactions, especially Luffy working up Zoro and Zoro acting tense of Luffy antics reminds me of preskip days...that itself can make this chapter 3/5 at the very least....

And Luffy dissing Lucci that he shouldn't take out on his crew or vegapunk because he can't beat him is hilarious....for the first time, Lucci is looking like an actual human instead of ruthless assasin...

and Kid vs Shanks imminent fight and Shanks swag hyped me up for the upcoming events.....

also, who locked vegapunk and what conclusion vegapunk got on poneglyph investigation....and more importantly how government knew whatever shit vegapunk upto...? many questions.....

overall, 4/5 chapter for me....

Well, if definitely makes things a lot more interesting, and also makes WG more menacing (plus I like smart villains).
Another idea I have is seraphims getting free will and basically fighting against everyone because they want to flee and live their lives the way they want to, but WG controlling theory has more appeal to me!

We've assumed the Gorosei can't control the Seraphim yet, because Saturn isn't on Egghead, but, the Seraphim already were given orders by the Gorosei.

Vegapunk having his own technology turned against his is really fitting for this arc, I think. I believe Vegapunk wants the best, but, still, people who make clone children to turn into lethal soldiers are just fucked up. He needs to get called out for that shit, and Oda might be setting that up.

This is where Franky fits in IMO ( @Cutty Jewboy ). Franky and Tom made ships, that could be used for evil. Vegapunk fucked up by making humans that could have their free will controlled by others, to me.

Franky's ships, and Pluton, were ships that could be used for good or evil. Vegapunk made living being whose will was taken away from them, and that's super fucked up to me.

But, Kaido was defeated because Luffy fought him, alongside so many others who wounded him and stalled him. Without the Scabbards, Kid, Killer, Law, Zoro, and Yamato and Momo, Luffy does not defeat Kaido.

That's my point: Luffy has not proven he can beat a Yonkou or Admiral in a 1v1.

Gear 5 is strong, but, like Gear 4, it exhausts Luffy.

Kaido fought over 10 opponents over multiple hours while using his own energy TO LIFT A FUCKING ISLAND INTO THE SKY, and you want to tell me Luffy is near his level because he knocked him out after over 10 other people fought Kaido, and Luffy got knocked out three times.

Kaido is the strongest Pirate by feats in the series, but Shanks' CoC hitting and ADMIRAL from outside Wano is crazy, and Kaido never did anything like that. We have no proof the Kaido is stronger than Shanks, especially after Shanks stopped Kaido from going to Marineford.

Luffy had everything go his way to beat Kaido, this arc is when things don't go his way.

Great chapter, I like it!

First of all, it's nice to see Zoro and Luffy's funny moments. As usual Luffy believes everyone lol but it's a pain in the ass to protect those two fodders. Zoro also agreed when he heard Nami, they want to finish it quickly.

That combo was lit !! But they did 0 damage to those Seraphim since they had their flame ON.

I was disappointed at first with Hawk having Mr.1 Df but with a killing machine like this Seraphim, it's kinda the best combo with his WSS's skill/haki and lunarian dura. It enhanced his offensives capabilities. And we have still the awakening.

Another thing, when those Seraphim use their powers, their flames disappear. King didn't have that issue, maybe because he was the OG ?

Second part : Lol poor Kidd, he has 0 chance tbh. But i feel like Oda gonna do something to not shit on Kidd completely.

Seeing those 4 giants together bring back to me memories

And interesting to see that Kidd lost his arm against Ben Beckman actually, since he uses gun lol.

Um that’s nice and everything but Devil Fruit power stamina has never effected any characters AP and endurance in a fight, even Doflamingo was keeping Dressrosa in a chokehold with his Birdcage while running a Gauntlet and no one says he is any stronger than Cracker.

Oda has already confirmed Kaido and Big Mom as the strongest emperors after Whitebeard with various statements, feats, and lore drops.
