Crews where the second-in-command is far from the captain's strength

- Big Mom Pirates (Big Mom is the mother of the crewmembers, Katakuri is a lowly son of Big Mom, albeit the strongest of her sons)
- Whitebeard Pirates (Whitebeard is the father of the crewmembers, Marco is just a son of Whitebeard, albeit the strongest of his sons)
- Beasts Pirates (Kaido is the superior commander of his underlings, King is just an underling of Kaido, albeit the strongest of his underlings)

Crews where the second-in-command is close in strength to the captain'

- Straw Hat Pirates (Luffy is the Pirate King and Zoro is the King of Hell -> shadow captain, light and dark Yin and Yang etc)
- Red Hair Pirates (Shanks is the "sun" and Benn is the "moon" -> shadow captain, light and dark Yin and Yang etc)
- Roger Pirates (Roger is the Pirate King and Rayleigh is the Dark King-> shadow captain, light and dark Yin and Yang etc)

I think only Big Mom pirates are such case where RHM is disrespected and incomparable to the captain.

Whitebeard considered Oden his brother, he is the true RHM of WBPs, not Marco.
King is Kaido's trusted right hand and a man who is even tougher than Kaido.
Blackbeard's strongest backing power is the evil parallel of Oden, Shiryu of the rain.
No need to explain Luffy and Zoro, Shanks and Beckman, Roger and Rayleigh.
