It'd be lame if he had CoC. But at this point less qualified individuals have gotten it.

The answer to why Law doesn't have it is Luffy. It allows Luffy to stand out. Awakened df, D and CoC is too much for anyone not named Luffy, maybe Teach.

Luckily for Law Oda made his df so broken that he doesn't need anything else. Maybe that's why he gave Law the ope knowing he wasn't getting conqueror's but still had to be among the top of his generation.

This question is for the deep philosophical users, I need reasons because I know Oda has reasons. Why does Kid have it but not Law who is older, wiser, and equally as strong on top of being a D.?
Oda wants Law to be the poster boy of top tier character with DF and no CoC.
The same with Sanji, Oda wants him to be the poster boy of top tier character with Science and no CoC.
All for balance purposes.

Because the story isn't over yet. What's with all these endgame questions acting like Wano was the end all to getting abilities? We have no idea who will get what. We can infer people maybe getting things and hold out confidence by hints, covers, or parallels. But at the end of the day the burden of proof lies for not getting it than it does to get it. Since it's not complete.

He absolutely will get it. His fruit is just too broken at the moment and giving him advanced right now will unironically put him above the Golden boy Luffy.

Once Luffy gets stronger then Law will get it.

Tbh at this point it feels like Kidd and law got one or the other just to keep them on the same area as Luffy but just below his level.

Hell it could even just be that law's arc was about becoming free of his past and how that all lead to why he wants what he does, so he got the D. For freedom and Kidd was going around pillaging and plundering so he became a conqueror. Luffy gets both because he wants to conqueror the world with freedom :suresure:
Honestly the way I see it:
Those who have made a name for themselves with a D seem to be those who are guided by destiny.

Those who have made a name for themselves with CoC did so of their own Will to be great.

Those who have both are basically chosen ones. Destined ones with strong wills.

Ayy nice, this is how I wanted to explain it. I was having an early morning brainfart

Cause he lacks the will to stare death in the face and keep fighting, garp said roger never backed down no matter how dire the odds, same thing that zoro did when mihawk was about to pierce his heart with a mere movement of his finger and yet zoro refused to back down.
Law simply lacks that and is a more of a calculatin type instead of having an unreasonable will to keep going.
Lmao totally agreed.
Moment someone big shoes up first Thing i hear from law is Room and mf teleports away.

He's strong without it. Same with BB. Their tactics don't revolve bending people to their wills. Both are strategist. I think it's obvious even if not by the end of the story both will develop coc.

You look at Luffy and Kid, then at Law. You will know why.
Luffy and Kid are similar in ways Law isn't.

If you look at other popular trios also, you see the pattern.
Luffy and Zoro are similar in ways Sanji isn't.
Luffy and Ace are similar in ways Sabo isn't.

People can try to come up with loopholes and such, but ultimately try seeing the overall picture. There are generally tendencies that you see in conqueror's that you don't in others.

I would recommend you watch the video made by Morj titled "why Blackbeard won't have conqueror's haki"

The best analysis on the topic I've seen.

It focuses on Blackbeard, but in general goes into conqueror's haki and addressed Luffy/Kid/Law in them as well

Stupid question, kids character has been shown to be extremely ambitious from the start while law is more low profile and collected.

Seeing laws backstory should be enough, its not that law was who he turned out to be since he was a kid like luffy zoro and kidd, life made law such a tough mf. So there you have it.

+He gave law such an op df that he'd be too strong with adcoc i think

The way I see it, Law and Kid are meant to represent half of Luffy more or less—Law has OP DF and D links while Kid has CoC and a Luffy-like crew. Or the reason could be as simple as Law having a different role from Kid as a leading figure of this generation.

Not everything has to do with luffy.
