You’re missing the point, this is not the appropriate way to flesh out a character’s history (however you wanna call it) when said character is a major, crucial piece of the entire story. Nitpick the details if you want, but like I said, we were previously shown and told more about the connection between Yamato and Kaido than we learned about Zoro’s heritage; he’s now confirmed to be the descendant of one of the five big families in Wano, so tell me, when in the future will be a more reasonable time for this reveal than the Wano arc would have been??

2. Zoro already had the least involved backstory of the straw hats. Literally boiling down to maybe half a chapter where he was constantly beat up by Kuina and vowed to be the WSS.
