Number of deaths+number of people with lasting effects from the disease that we still have little knowledge of how long these will last+high demand of hospitalization that countries were not able to provide+deaths from other diseases or injuries that required hospitalization, but couldn't happen due to people with COVID taking most spaces available+ a collapse of the funerary system who couldn't keep up with the number of bodies, leading to extremely fucked up scenes of common graves, etc.

Or.

A few people with collateral effects from the vaccines.

It's not hard to understand what should be the priority. Or, at least, it shouldn't.
:risitavirus:

"but, but vaccine should take longer to be produced".
Yes. It should.
Unfortunately, someone forgot to tell that to the virus. Or the virus was a real dick and decided to ignore it. :risitexcla:
sad but true, those mass graves were a sad sight.

You are right Zolo.
We dont need DNA changing vaccines.
Elderly can get them, but not the young ones.
Natural immunity >>> Vaccines.
Look, vaxed still believe they have the moral high ground... when all they believed was proven wrong... the government that gave them vax was the one that gave them covid in the first place....

Sure, that small percentage of people are important too. However, their unfortunate circumstances shouldn’t be used as a way to be like “SEE?! THIS IS WHY WE CAN’T USE THESE! THEY’RE KILLING OFF OUR POPULATION! THE END IS NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAR!!!” or something incredibly dramatic like that.

As long as the vaccines work for the majority of people, they should still be made to protect them.
yeah, the "bill gates wants depopulation" stuff was bullshit.

yeah, but some people didn't get to choose.I wanted to get boosted with pfizer, but couldn't find a public hospital that had it.Ended up getting a shot from another company.
That sucks, and I’m sorry you had to go through that. Sounds like you could have waited and would have been comfortable doing so based on the things you’ve said in this thread, so unless it was a mandate from your employer (and again, there are many businesses that don’t require vaccinations), I’m not sure that gives you a good reason to complain about the availability of one over the other.

Which is why you could choose which one you wanted (assuming you wanted one in the first place) based on which had the best trial results or most manageable side effects. I chose Moderna and heard Pfizer was fine, but Johnson and Johnson’s famously crapped out hard so I never considered it. The medical community didn’t exactly have time to perfect these things before they were released because letting the pandemic continue without taking any preventive measures was the demonstrably wrong choice (so much for “herd immunity”), so yeah, they weren’t ever going to be wholly effective from the start. Three years in, with boosters and tracking new variants, it’s MUCH safer than back then, so there’s even less reason to be unvaxxed now.
Johnson & Johnson have had a history with things like baby powder causing people to develop cancer according to lawsuits.

Out of the three, I’d probably trust them the least. I don’t know how effective their vaccine really is, but I think Pfizer gives you better immunity if I recall correctly. I don’t know if Moderna is better in that regard or not.

sad but true, those mass graves were a sad sight.
I remember the commontion when Italy and Spain were reaching 1k daily deaths counts.

At some point, there was so much disgrace, that people brain's couldn't even comprehend the horror of single countries having 2-3k deaths daily FOR MONTHS. We got collectively "numb".
:pepecafe:

All we could do was meme about it as a way to cope.

When I got COVID, my tasting sense got fucked up.
Luckily I got it only last year, after 3 shots of the Oxford vaccine.
Was down for a few days still.

J&J definitely suck ass at the things they’re supposedly best at, so yeah, never even crossed my mind to get theirs. Everyone I know got Moderna and experienced mild to no side effects - I personally had a sore shoulder like I do after any time I get the needle and I was a little tired for three hours afterward, that was it.

If you didint get vax you wouldnt have that shoulder thing, and things wouldnt have changed one bit...

Actually,i didn't have to take any vaxxx, but decided to do so.I had to take some booster shot, because vacines were becoming scarce on the public health system. We had a supply problem for some time. That is why i decided to take whatever they had.

Yes, they should be made but people who don't want to take the, be it out of fear or genuine concerns after having had negative experiences in the past, should not be pressured or shamed for their decision.

The shoulder thing lasts for an hour or less in the immediate moments after the injection, it’s not like my whole arm goes dead for a week. Also, since it appears that the death rate for unvaxxed people is five times higher than that for the vaxxed, I believe it could have changed quite a bit for me and anyone else who decided the risk of going without was worth it :luuh:
