4: King runs off the island and attacks Zoro from the distance

Its very simple, as time went on Zoro noticed that he can hurt King with his fire on

However, all this proves this chapter is that you need Hax or AdCoC to hurt King, which idk why its surprising cause King has busted durability

I mean he had an ancient zoan too on top of it. The only thing Oda failed to explain how do these on/off switchess work, does his flame on his back temporary for a short time run out after King uses a fire attack therefore his defense dropping but he becomes slightly faster in return or what.

Otherwise act like a dummy and be used as a indestructible meatshield in a war.

By conqueror's haki attacks and internal damaji doesn't work. My boy Kata is weaker than Lanji so he isn't part of the list of people that can scratch King and the Seraphim.

Zoro was definitely capable of hurting king before king of hell he just wasn't strong enough to really make use of it. Before koh king was able to overwhelm and overpower him for most the fight

The best tell for zoro being able to hurt king is honestly just looking at kings clothes. With him only being capable of cutting his clothes and therefore king while his flame was off
While his flame was on tho i didn't matter how strong his attacks were but king and his clothes would be perfect fine

1. We know zoro cut kings mask spike off panel
2. He cut more of it with tiger hunt
3. Cut even more of the mask off panel after unlocking koh mode
4. Cut his button up with bird dance
5. Then finally cutting his wing with dragon damnation

When zoro landed onigiri, tatsumaki, shisonson, etc. You can notice no matter how deadly it looked king and his clothes were fine
Oda basically showing king accumulating damage like a fighting gun character


King was blocking, avoiding, and disarming zoro even before koh

People believe their own headcanons
Even Marco hurt King with flames on.

King with flames still started feeling accumulated damage as the fight went on against zoro.
You cant tank attacks forever...you would end up weakening sooner or later.

Without flames, lunarians are fodders in durability
King is lucky to have ancient zoan fruit

It's not complex. Oda retconning the fruit because his footing is on fire after all pedophile allegations online.

Normally what Usopp does in this chapter can be considered another pedophile after Sanji but Oda will tell you that it's about cuteness too not only being aroused.

Because he opened a wound. Perhaps that wound could be used to harm him more even with hia fire turned on. He was still able to block with his leg when his fire turned on in his back.

It could turn women into stone. Heck ,it could turn feelingless pacifista robot into stone, though that needs contact.

I think you need "anti feelings" instead of even just neutral feelings.
For Luffy, the anti feelings was simply too strong by default. For Momoga, he needed to generate the anti feelings through pain

king can literally only use his flame attacks when his flame is on lol. The last attack when they clashed he had his flame on since he used his biggest flame attack

Strongest ability Adcoc > Strongest defense

King is simply built different, and this shouldn't be a surprise considering Kaido was amazed by his endurance and durability, and Queen was literally hyping him up mid Sanji fight about how tough they are

I expect when Zoro and Luffy use AdCOC they will win
