I hope so while simultaneously, looking at the other women who joined the straw hats… she’s going to sit out
Well, I personally hope she could get a shot against S-Snake, especially since her style is pragmatic and smart fighting. But yeah, knowing Oda, he rarely gives ultra cool fights to female characters (although Ulti and Robin last arc were pretty impressive).

Do you think Stussy will get a fight in upcoming chapters?
Yes, - with Lucci. :suresure:

He has already stated how much he can't forget her.

@Warback I liked you better with that Big Bird avy, why did you get rid of it? Did he join the SHP without me noticing? :wonderland:
I am always confusing the mouse with a bat - its arm is looking like a wing, somehow.

That’s fair. Honestly at most I feel like we’ll get a scene of her and whoever the traitor is

At this point we can even stop. Wasn't 10 the mark? And anyway what us the meaning of getting new nakamas when already the old ones get almost no space, the "lesser" ones (Brook, Franky etc.) almost get no screen time, no talk, gags etc. so if we get new ones it will just be that everybody gets even less time when they already have almost none.

It not about that anymore... its about having (F.U.N)

The point is that Oda is neglecting them. Franky had a wonderful intro with Water 7 and Enies Lobby and then also had his time to shine in Thriller bark, even if some was through gags they were still great and it was entertaining space given to him. Same to Brook with his intro in Thriller bark, then in Sabaody he had not very much space... but still way more, and way more quality, than he (and Franky, Robin etc.) get in the post time skip. Now it is only a sun Jesus god MC wank fest.

You know I agree, I’m just fucking around!! The Mid Trio (for lack of a better term) has always been given less respect than the Monster and even Weak ones; I have to chalk that up to Oda realizing he can’t give Robin/Franky/Brook too much to do because they could accomplish it all on their own and the story would end a lot sooner. As much as I enjoy potential new crew mates, these three deserve the love more :risicheck:

Don't worry I know you JDB. Anyway just look at the current arc. You would expect that when Franky finally meets Vegapunk there would be some major upgrade for him and/or the Sunny, probably Vegapunk should give him some insight on Pluton or some other ancient weapon/technology, stuff about the void century but Luffy will gobble it all. Afterall if Zoro get nothing with Ryuma in Wano there is no hope for anybody at this point.

God, the Franky thing stings, but at least it can still be salvaged if Vegapunk does get out of Egghead with the SHP…the Zoro/Ryuma shit hurts substantially more, I know this isn’t the thread to discuss it but FUUUUUUCK ODA FOR THAT ONE :tch::pepeshit::beckmoji:

Nothing was setup in that manner so there is absolutely no legitimate reason to expect anything of that sort.

I mean, really, C4N telling ANYONE in this fandom that they’ve misunderstood and overestimated the importance of their favorite character is funnier than anything else :mihanha::luffylaugh::rolaugh::lulz::kailaugh:

Note that I never expected Carrot to become a strawhat in 7 years of working on this project. I always said that this was the most likely possibility. I thought that she was meant to be a strawhat but I was wrong on that. But nothing in the story setup Carrot to become a strawhat. Nothing. If that was the case, this wouldn't even need to be a theory. It would be a fact straight on the moment of setup.

And just like Carrot becoming a strawhat. Nothing was setup for a arc concerning Zoro or Franky. Those were just likely possibilities.

That's why I always tell people not to expect things that were not setup.

We both know that first part simply isn’t true, but beyond that, Franky spent two full years inside Vegapunk’s laboratory in his hometown and studied his designs to the point of incorporating them into his own body like he said back in Sabaody or Punk Hazard, there was a more than reasonable expectation that their meeting would hold more significance than we’ve seen; THAT’S what it means to set up something, THAT’S the kind of thing an author should ensure pays off :ultimoji:

No. There were no setups here. This expectation was created by you fans only.
Not saying that this wouldn't be an interesting approach (I even theorized it after the two year time skip at the time if I remember correctly) but this is just a theory, holding only on potential hints and clue, no actual setups.

We have to be very careful when we talk about Storytelling. Expectations must ONLY come when there are setups involved, not when there are concording clues like Carrot's situation or Franky.

A example of clear setup is for example this :

This is what we call a setup. A direct one.

Both are valid, and you're the only one who specified "energy" scientist. And if you're comparing it to botanist, then you should agree it's valid since a botanist was originally planned for the crew.
I didn't specify energy scientist Sir Yasheen did.

Theories are based on expectations and inferences made through demonstrable evidence and qualities previously displayed by the subjects; ipso fuckin’ facto, we can theorize that the Franky-Vegapunk connection was revealed explicitly to foreshadow something meaningful going down between the two once they met, not only because of the specific characters involved but because Oda has a very public track record of indulging the “Shit will happen when these two finally meet” trope throughout OP’s publication. I know you’ve convinced yourself that nobody understands the nuances and subtleties of storytelling better than you, the guy who spends every waking second talking online about a cartoon rabbit hardly anyone else cares about to people who think he’s completely delusional, but whether you like it or not, there was always reason to believe in this even if the author is currently choosing not to give it the spotlight.
