It's tough to say either way imo
They have different strengths while also being somewhat similar - a warrior that ends up living the civilian life and experiencing life from that side (this is very general ofc, there are differences in their circumstances)
Vinland Saga will go down as the better one if the ending isn't a let down. And judging by the story so far it shouldn't be, but we've all said that before for other stories as well lol
Vagabond is my personal favorite and the one I enjoyed more, but sadly it won't see a conclussion.

And this is exactly why I asked you those questions so that I can understand if I am dealing with a dimwit but it turns out that I am indeed dealing with a dimwit. So you said Naruto is a character driven story but has worse character development than One Piece, gotcha. Believe what you want dude. This is why I ask questions before I debate someone.

I literally said that my favourite manga is Slam Dunk, which your favourite manga completely copied the protagonist friend dynamic btw.
Or Berserk.
As you said, Lee, One Piece is not a character driven manga, and as such, it doesn't need that.
It's a battle shonen with a stong emphasis on the overall mistery of the One Piece.
And Naruto doesn't solve anything, they literally recant their whole life because Naruto shows them that the Ninja way is to trust yourself and your friends.
