It was Kaido and Big Mom arc so Oda likely wanted to hype them.
Shanks lower bounty can always be rationalized to the fact he became an emperor recently and that he's less violent.

- The Red-Haired Pirates obtained the Road Ponegliff rubbings from the Kid Pirates.

- The Kid Pirates, led by Eustass "Captain" Kid, have been declared defeated.

- There's more information in the chapter.

- At the end of the chapter, the Narrator declares: "It was this day, the Kidd Pirates led by Eustess 'Captain' Kidd got defeated and their dreams of becoming Pirate King ended. Kidd pirates are hereby completely annihilated."
