Let's say Fujitora and Ryokugyu jump Red Hair Pirates and Kizaru + someone jump Blackbeard Pirates/Cross Guild.

Kidd already failed twice against Shanks though and he still lost, so that kinda breaks that Storytelling cycle. Even the narrator confirmed that Kidd is finished

The worst part isn't that Kidd lost.

The worst part is that Kidd lost and is seemingly completely out of the story.

This leaves Kidd an utterly shallow character who was just kinda there on the periphery.

Contrast him with Law... hell contrast him with fucking Bege and his story just feels so pathetic. And I don't think that was intrinsically the aim from Oda.

So kidd just kinda exists as this little side story. And it's not a particularly satisfying one.
