well he killed that fodder because he hurt luffy. and apart from luffy and zero no other character has a legendary trainer/godly df. it was kinda obvious that kidd would have lost, he was slightly above yc1 level and luffy was oneshotted by kaido in those conditions

Is preACoC Oden too strong or Kid too weak. I think most can agree that Shanks's Kamusari = Roger's Kamusari. I don't know why Mid and Lol fans were getting so arrogant, they never beat BM in a straight fight. Oden was a true monster. Current Law and Kid are not anywhere near pre ACoC Oden.

Can't say Oda was inconsistent. Oda hates "evil" characters that do bad and always makes them suffer the most. Most folks forgot that Kid is far more ruthless than even Akainu. He has a much greater numbers of killed civilians on his back even pre ts. The Luffy influence made him seem more likeable but ultimately the "good" person Shanks gave Kid what he had coming.

Yeah definitely. Prime/Rocks Big Mom would be absolutely, utterly terrifying, way more than her current self too. But Oda won't show it unfortunately I'm sure. Maybe briefly in a gods valley flashback at best.

Her Devil Fruit is immensely powerful and versatile too.

Zoro has the legendary lineage, legendary trainer but instead of the DF, he gets legendary swords gifted.

and no, the kill on that pirate was never necessary. Shanks showed before he is able to use CoC already, he could have knocked him out without moving at all. He could have blitzed him with several other solutions. Lucky could have shot in the hand of the pirate. But they decided to kill straight up. There was no necessarity.

It's not like those with legendary lineage aren't working their asses off, train and fight to death. And Kidd and Law also made it pretty far in their journey. But yeah, obviously, those with legendary factors and higher potential, while working as hard, will reign supreme. This is how the world always worked, no? Especially since natural freaks and talents discover their strengths and talents even earlier.
