Kid getting back up isnt about power scaling Kid and law roles in the story aren't just over
Law being defeated like he likley was off panel is fine because he and his crew at least got to temporarily flex their skill even if it was for a second. Law will still find our the history of d despite his lost
Kid getting defeated by shanks in of itself is fine and makes complete sense but i don't think the way he did was. Kid and killers main goal is strength focused them trying to prove themselves against the current powers and stuff. Them just being casual defeated even before getting to do anything imo is even worse happening to them than law. I think kid unlike law has to flex even more or at the very least earn shanks respect
Law fought kaido, big mom, and blackbeard to futher his goal on learning the history
