I dont understand some of the Kid fans being suprised.
When Law, Kid and Luffy each got 3B bounty that was a symbolic reflection that Big meme and Kaido combined had 4,388,000,000 B and 4,611,100,000 B which amounts to 8999100000 B so those 3 get a total of 9B which is slighty higher, so it represents them beating the 2 yonkos
But we know that Kid/Law barely beat BM, so their bounties are inflated af, in reality, Kid is worth prolly a bit less than half of a BM.
So imagine half of Big Mom going agaisnt Shanks, what did you expect?

Then why isn't he dead? It would be so easy for Oda to do. Just have Shanks shoot Kid in the head like Kaido did to Oden. Go out of his way to show that its truly over for Kid.

Not counting Old Era cuz so far Oda never done such Chapter for them, there seems to be a Trend of making Power Hype Chapters for certain Fighters similar to this one about Shanks. (Where Oda finally reveals their Power)

Buggy also had a Chapter for Himself during East Blue Saga so not sure if Oda gonna give him a New One
But what's interesting is that Only Characters who don't have such a Chapter yet (Named after them & Hyping their True Power) are:
Mihawk, Dragon & Blackbeard
This means Two Things:
1. Oda decided that Mihawk & Dragon's Hype Chapter should be Reserved "After" Shanks Chapter (Leaving them Last)
2. Blackbeard was shown Fighting Post-TS (Twice) & yet No Chapter for him yet! Meaning He still didn't show his "True Power/Form"

People are taking casual panel to scale Mihawk while this dude hasnt use 1 signle name attack in OP so far (probably is the only one with the gorosei that hasnt used a name attack in OP)
All the yonkos,admiral,pirate,ex supernova,new generation,CP0 used names attack not Mihawk that should tell you how protective Oda is with him.

All the characters sit on their asses doing nothing. Nobody ever got out of their prime. There's simply no evidence that BM has weakened even one bit. Her fat version has been the strongest because that's where her Durability, toughness and physical strength came from. Her tough defence didn't get any weaker with age. She just never had good AP or lethality.
