Its obviously the Emperors. Has nothing to do with power levels(who's more important, Nami or King?) so with that said, I'll be watching to see who tries to turn this into a power level debate

The Yonko, specifically due to Shanks and Blackbeard. In the grand scheme of the series, Sakazuki is more important than Kaido and BM though.

The least plot relevant of them all is Kizaru, by quite some distance (so far at least). But the Admirals in general suffer due to being subordinates (of a subordinate, really, given Sakazuki isn't in charge of the World Gov).

In terms of plot relevancy I'd say it goes

Blackbeard/Shanks
Whitebeard/Sakazuki
Kaido/Big Mom/Kuzan
Fuji (and presumably Ryo, but that's just a guess)
Kizaru

And I suppose I should mention Sengoku as well, who's probably in Kizaru levels of relevancy.

I think it's a draw. Yonko are the main obstacle to Luffy's dream of being the PK. The Admirals on the other hand are the antagonists to Luffy revolutionary tendencies. The aftermath of him being the pirate king should realistically be the war against the WG where the Admirals will feature prominently albeit as musclemen/underlings of the celestial dragons.
I guess the yonko have a slight importance since they are their own bosses.

Whitebeard is responsible for the War of the Best and his death started the new era

Kaido and Big Mom have been the main antagonists since pretty much the beginning of Post-TS.

Shanks is the one who motivated Luffy.

Blackbeard is gonna be Luffy’s main obstacle before becoming PK.

Aokiji is just an underling of a Yonko that will get rekt after being exposed as a traitor

Kizaru will be nothing but a background character until some secondary/tertiary character takes him out at EoS or earlier.

Akainu is the only one with any claim to be as relevant as a Yonko.

Fujitora was just a side character who didn’t do anything important in DR and will be shoved to the sidelines until EoS.

Ryokugyu is to be determined

• Shanks is basically the reason the series started. Coincidentally has worn the same hat as roger and luffy(with there being a giant replica imu has) Along with him having some secret connection to the wg
• Teach himself has more end game villain potential than the marines (not the wg as a whole tho
• Newgate kaido and linlin have been relevant since the rocks era
• Newgate was the wsm and basically started a new era of piracy with his death
• Linlin has had a presence in every arc since fmi even after wci and still might he relvent in elbaf
• Since punk hazard the whole goal has been to take down kaido. With him having wano and previously doffy under his control. Him planning to cause the biggest war ever might play a big role too

the Admirals are an afterthought within the Marine organisation rather than figureheads Luffy must surpass as a Pirate

The Admirals will become more important than the Yonko during the final arcs though, as Coby will probably be thrown into the mix

Dude, how the fuck are Kaido and Big Mom less important than Aokiji? By the end of Wano, Kaido and Big Mom will have been the main antagonists of 400 chapters of the manga. What has Aokiji done / will do for the story? Trash Luffy one time and then get used as a hype tool for Akainu and eventually BB?

Lol that’s cute.

Big Mom was the main antagonist of an entire arc, the secondary antagonist of Wano, and a minor antagonist in FMI, DR, and Zou.

Shichibukai are borderline irrelevant at this point in the story, except for Mihawk, so abolishing then isn’t really that important. Fujitora’s role in the story is objectively less important than BM’s.

Also Shanks will not be completely off paneled. Worse case scenario it plays out like Ace vs BB
