Yeah that's precisely how I feel xD I guess I just preferred it when he was simply this 'legend' that set off the whole pirate-age rather than a character that now gets developed and explored as person lol. Kind of takes away the initial magic for me, but technically it makes sense of course xd

All after the fight where you claim he got destroyed. If he got destroyed he would be out for the count. Sakazuki was confident before fighting Whitebeard and confident after fighting Whitebeard - he wasn't phased at all by it.

Sakazuki literally went 1v1 with the worlds strongest (even when considering his illness) man and came out of it with no injuries and having literally sent Whitebeard towards deaths door if not killed him outright

The whole point of an Admiral is to fight/match maintain balance with the Yonko. If they cant do that, they're useless and shouldn't exist.
Saying they cant match the Yonko underrates them. Saying they are stronger than the Yonko overrates them. Oda's clearly trying to portray a parity between the 4 Yonko and 4 Admirals - oh look, there's coincidentally the same number of them, hmmm
