I kinda believe it´s almost perfect for him.
With this fruit, he could have kept the people in his kingdom as hostages.
Im thinking about something like "pay me 1mio berrys per month or you won´t be able to get out of your house"
Since he can controll everythin, there are endless possibilitys on what he can do to threaten people.
Atleast when they are on top of him.
1. The same reason why luffy ran away from gutters and smile user when going to fave kaido. To preserve stamina. Especially added with the fact that he was helping civilians Escape by being a decoy while he himself was the only prisoner weighted.
2. Except he wasn't a damsel since even the people whom he was saving stated thatvhe could have escaped while ago lol.
3. Yes he does have haki hence why he knew where to run which would have resulted in the best outcome for every single prisoner to escape.
4. If coby was as easy of a target teach wouldn't have told Pizarro that he was annoying (in reference to Pizarro the island man capturing him).
5. The way the story is going koby won't be able to catch up to luffy since luffy is yonko with cobyat best being yC3. Which is why I depise odas writing because what he is going to do is BS a way last minute for coby to catch up. While that's where the trajectory of the story is going, odas execution of it is going to be ASS

Pizarro is an island man, and from what is implied here is that he can merge with any part of the island(only non-living things). If somehow some parts of the town gets destroyed that doesn't mean he can just reform it back to original. Its still unclear if his fruit gives him that kind of ability.

Will have to agree. Will coby be powerful eos? Yes. But in order for Jim to be luffys rival oda is going to bullshit this very very very last minute.
It will be terrible writing based on its execution. And what's to weird was that there were so much ways for oda to make coby luffys equal without it being forced.

2. Have him master rokougun which theoretical he should know since it was stated that coby has mastered ALL rokoushiki techniques.
3. It was confirmed he has advanced observation so oda should have given him like a sonar type observation where he can pinpoint any opponents bodily weak spots and target them. Which would make more sense since coby is based on a dolphin (animals that use sonar.
4. Have him utilize future sight, soru, along with kamui-e to be an evasion specialist making up for his lack of durability by simply be hard to hit
5. Combine both rokougan along with advanced ryou to have each of his attacks to cause double the internal destruction to compensate for his lack in AP.
6. Have him utilize life return to buff all of his base states (like how luffys gear 2 and hear 4 works). Place a 5 minute time limit. Oda could even write that this was the secret 8 rokoushiki technique that coby himself developed.
7. Lastly obtained coc for the first time in this current arc right now.
