Seems like we get fight panels with Apoo vs Luffy and then later Kid vs Apoo, perfect way to start a match with Kid vs Apoo.
I don´t see it bad, Luffy probably face the numbers and other forces, because that Queen didn´t tell anything to Kaido or he do it later.^^

I'm sorry, but how can Luffy who just defeated Doflamingo Cracker and Katakuri, escaped Big Mom territories and fought against Kaido be considered as fodder by the beast pairets? It's just same BS underestimation plot, it worked in WCI but it's not going to work here.

He fought Hawkin for a bit. He punched one of Hawkin's subordinate and throw the giant lizard at Hawkin. Later it was Zoro vs Hawkin on top of Komainu since Luffy had to protect Tama.

Punching Hawkin's subordinate and throwing lizard to him is not the same as fighting him. The only one who fought against Hawkin was Zoro
