Yeah and Zoro also thinks he doesn't get lost too. Their also things that goes over plans with the SH. Like Franky staying firm on dresssosa telling Luffy he aint leaving, Nami telling Sanji she not leaving these Kids etc.... Actions speak louder than words. Coby thought Zoro was some demon that would kill him, but that far from the truth. Also Zoro likes kids which is why he chills with Chopper

Zoro would have tried to kill him. Straw hats are guided by morals and kindness. Which is why you can't really consider them pirates. Rather adventurers or explorers that occasionally steal from real criminals.

They are pirates and should be in jail, but they do have kind side.
