God some of my posts in there were uninformed as hell. But damn...the amount of deleted posts made up 5 whole pages of its own. 9 Threadban, 6 actual bans, 3 account deletions. Great results.


I have some doubts 2024 will reach that level though. Kamala Harris vs Not Trump doesn't seem too exciting.

Unless Hillary switches parties she ain't running. Biden is the defacto democrat representative as he is the current president, but I'm half joking in that he ain't running cause his 80 year old ass might not even live long enough to make it. If he doesn't, the VP ranks up and has to run.

If Trump somehow makes it to the 2024 run, it gonna be chaos. I think the hush money scandal is a why to put a record on him that will disqualify him from joining the race. Gonna be complainers either way.

There is no convincing people


most people tend to vote left or right regardless of logic or reason because the reason they got to those positions was not by logic but belief

poltitical debate is really pointless like that because everyone has very deep rooted beliefs that wont change

the leftists will always support abortions
and right wingers will always support gun rights

Not to say ether position is wrong just that even if it was, no amount of reason would change the minds of people who think these things


We could have a non biased robot say that objectively transgenderism or patriotism were wrong but because of the emotional attachment to those positions
no fact would change the people's minds

But some people who debate think you will change people's minds as if these positions arent massively funded by the poltitical parties who agree with said positions


I do debate to waste time and for fun but some people genuinely think this is a past time that causes change in people
