The inconsistency with Luffy and Zoro's durability and endurance is really annoying.
They are litterally as endurant and resistant as the plot needs them to be, in other cases Luffy wouldn't have been really fazed by this explosion.

It not inconsistent, luffy is resistant to blunt attacks. this an explosion that cuts you.
