You're right. He barely evaded although a part of the impact was slightly in contact with the lower body as he's back flipping. It likely didn't do anything given how quickly he got back and went offensive, so he did dodge it. That bumass BB. Even Van has better reactions than him lmfao.

Still the difference in power b/w Neko and Bepo is evident though. BB barely fell back while Neko's sending Kaido's body around like G4. One thing for sure though, dude's huge ass fuck. Law was great when he said he wanted to go back to his crew. Huge respect.

Kuzan is not even stronger than shiryu let alone BB

People look down on BB just because he hold some hits or the way he acts which is crazy since the man still broken as fuck .

BB will most likely have some Advance haki , Oda just saving stuff like he usually does .
BB has be around for near 750 plus chapters and Oda only have him doing 1 move with his darkness DF .
He even off screen this fight not to show to much .
In terms of portrayal BB more like luffy than any other pirate so it going to be interesting to see what happens now that shanks join the race.

He doesn't seem to have advanced haki. He definitely doesn't have FS or he wouldn't have been hit by SW or Bepo. If he had ACoC he wouldn't be relying on the gura gura no mi for offense.

My guess is Oda will just make Teach a threat by having him get a 3rd DF and also having one or more awakenings.
