Akainu isn't the most complex character and still some people cannot get a grasp on him. Not much you can do about it.

He's gonna have a hard backstory though
Nobody is that much of a douchebag just because
I imagine maybe his wife and village died to pirates or something.
Should be up there with Law and Robin's backstories but we'll see what gOda does..

Aokijis ability is too freeze stuff. He cools down the temperature likewise can and did he cool down the Magma of Akainu, that's what literally caused the endless stalling.

Akainu's fruit is stronger than Aokiji's.

If it was a pirate, Akainu wouldn't hestitate. But he saw Aokiji as his comrade. He cares about the integrity of the marines.

I mean, garp got pretty much the same ideology as akainu, he literally said that he got no remorse for Rayleigh and shakky because they are criminals, akainu is just way more extreme about it. Oda showed akainu laughing with whitebeard, he even respected him, he ain't as simple minded as people think he is

I am pretty sure it isnt Dragon.
As Shiryu implied, the man likely is in bed with World Government which Dragon isnt.
Also, Dragon's ship doesnt have black sails, it's anime only thing.
Also, it would be way to convenient for a daddy to hand over the missing RPG to a son.
I know he enjoys more plot armor than anyone but there are limits...

Every single opinion about the Akainu vs Aokiji fight is headcanon as we've never seen it. All we know is that Kuzan got whooped so hard he's still salty about it a year later.

Man lose a leg and then had leave group he was part of 20 plus year .
