That doesn't mean much. I doubt Oda cares about a single dialogue from Whitebeard years ago enough that it dictates the flow of his story. Tell me, what else is stopping Blackbeard to be Luffy's final opponent?
It does if Kuzan's stronger, and so far, we have no reason to give BB the benefit of doubt as Kuzan almost soloed the entire crew on his own. I am only willing to entertain the idea that BB might be stronger for the sake of consistency.

4-Somehow,fucking Buggy finds it by accident while looking for Captains John legendary treasure.
