I feel like that entirely defeats part of Brooks dream though. They were both Rumbar pirates, and Yorki being alive (and not a skeleton) shows Laboon that there is a living pirate that came back to see him from that crew already.
Plus, he's wearing a Wano hat and jacket that resembles nothing like Yorki.
Why not? He had a casual chat with his former crew mate Whitebeard and had a noted admiration for Roger before his death, no reason why he couldn’t sit down for a nice talk with Crocus when they’re both supposedly retired old men.
Crocus was never a part of Yorki's crew. Other than this, Laboon has nothing to do with the One Piece plot other than being Brook's long cherished dream.
Right, we’re talking about a pragmatist who’s clearly comfortable allying with former enemies in the interest of achieving a higher goal...to preclude the possibility of him reminiscing with someone else of his era would be foolish.

have you seen strong world?
shiki is crazy, even in chapter zero,
and I don't think crocus as Roger's doctor will be happy for meeting someone like shiki

So y’all are basing this opinion on an anime-only portrayal...Oda has shown us multiple instances in the canon of old rivals (such as Shiki’s two contemporaries WB and Roger) sitting down and talking things out free of sinister intent. When in doubt, I trust the manga over any non-canon movies.

yeah, it's true that we don't know anything about Shiki's personality in manga (which is canon) tho, the only thing we know that's Shiki was once a part of the Rocks pirates

That’s all I’m saying, we don’t know how his personality in the manga has changed from his Rocks stint or from chapter 0, which took place 22 years before the present day. Time softens everyone’s edges, it’s not unreasonable to think that two old men who used to oppose each other can find common ground in their impending mortality. Does it makes as much sense as Scopper Gaban being the mysterious visitor? Maybe not, but we’ve only ever seen Gaban portrayed with a totally different hairstyle, which I’ll admit can also change drastically in a couple of decades. By all rights, they’d both probably have gray hair by now...

There’s still the outside chance Gaban (or Shiki for that matter) show up soon, be it in Wano or after the SHP depart. Would have been cool to see the former in Udon, but that’s nowhere near the biggest narrative disappointment in this arc so far.
The steering wheel in his fucking skull is probably the biggest piece of evidence that it isn’t him; there’s only one kasa in the OP world big enough to hide it, and unless he somehow found the one Ace made for Oars Jr, I don’t see us missing something like that in the cover story image.
