Tbf, Embiid lost the '21 MVP because he got injured. He was pretty much leading it by most people's accounts after the all-star break then injured his foot in the first game back and pretty much didn't return after, which is fair to give it to Jokic. I can also give you his 2nd MVP even though Embiid also had a shitshow with Ben Simmons and still had that team nearing the #1 seed before they even got Harden there. Pretty much the big difference this year is Embiid kept up with Jokic in terms of games played and apparently Jokic's defense got worse even though he's apparently the best defensive player according to some advanced metrics.

Warriors countered Lakers defensive scheme from game 1 lmfao.
The 2 key things:
-Steph on ball, pick and roll
-Looney and Draymond alternating so there aren't 2 non shooters at the same time (the small ball they ran in game 1 destroyed Lakers in the 4th).
Warmup 3s and hockey assists all game. The only thing this scheme serves to do now is contain Steph from 35+ but it guarantees you lose the game, as he will drop it off to Draymond all game taking 2 players sometimes 3 with him. Lakers are playing 3v4 bare minimum pretty much all game.
My only concern is on the road role players tend to miss wide open shots, so let's see what happens moving forward, but Lakers might have to try something else out.

As much as I don't like AD's Tic Tac Toe performances I can't say that he will get eaten up or something. I feel like this series will have few more turns and twists.
His unstable performances gonna give me a heart attack at some point.
