Since 2012-13 when the Warriors made the playoffs for the first time with Curry and David Lee (a name most bandwagon fans wouldn't know about) up to 2015-16, the Warriors basically struggled as a franchise to get to the playoffs for the past 40 seasons (w/ the We Believe Warriors in 2006-07 sprinkled in) yet still maintaining high fan attendance and a very raucous/dedicated home crowd. Even in 2014-15 when they won for the first time in 40 seasons, the majority of the NBA didn't believe they could make it that far after barely losing to the Clippers in 2013-14 (1st Round) and getting Mark Jackson fired.
it didn't really start until the Warriors lost in the 2015-16 Finals and KD came over from OKC when the fanbase started to change drastically, many of the 'newer' or 'incoming' fans switching over from the Lakers after they stopped making the playoffs after 2012-13 (7 yr drought until 2019-20 with the Bubble). It's now kinda split with the current Semis between the Lakers/Warriors but I can very much assure you that 'bandwagon' Warriors fans are very much real
Warriors can't stop a cold to save their life and are a mess on the other side. Turnovers and having the same amount of 3s as LA will not let you win this game. Also, LA shooting 20 more free throws helps as well lol
Lakers 2-0 in the playoffs when bae Kim Kardashian sitting courtside but it always funny tho when the Lakers get a lot of calls but I ain't goin say no conspiracy thought lol

Best solution would be to complain about it in public but they're the Lakers. They've had the most free throw attempts since the Boston game where LeBron threw a temper tantrum after the no-call and my boi Pat Bev showed them a camera lol

I'm curious as to why bandwagon fans bother people so much....At the end of the day its just entertainment. Cheering for winners is normal. I'm a casual watcher of basketball, personally don't have the kind of time to be watching basketball all year round. I don't even watch all the playoff games. I remember being Laker fan and then I realize I was only a Kobe fan. I only started watching because of family and friends anyway. I don't even have a favorite team and I could care less about who wins. I just make logical predictions on who I think will win and I still think Denver or GSW will take it.
The regular season watchers seem to be highly offended by casual watchers which doesn't even make sense. Hey but to each his own I guess.

Exactly I agree with only time I will call out a bandwagon fan if they was talking shit towards me about them then days later they somehow cheering for them then jokely roast them lol but yea every team goin have bandwagons when you win the title love it or not that what make the fanbase grows even if they not loyal forever
This is why it's good to not overreact about the first 2 games, especially when that team that lost is on the road. People thinking Phoenix or Golden State were gonna get swept even though they were on the road. They're obv. must win games but it's like people just started watching basketball recently from what I've seen online

They better not fucking suspend Jokic for this. I get that he pulled a little bit of Ron Artest and shoved the Suns owner, who's the MVP btw if this actually happens, but this is gonna change the series considering they're at home as well.
Today's playoff games redeemed last night awful blow out games. Playoff doesn't start until the hone team loses a playoff game. I still have Nuggets winning. For the 76ers series, Embidd has been playing terrible for an MVP. Jokic is proving to the world that he deserved the MVP over Embidd. Embidd needs to step it up.
