FS is only useful in few kind of situations. It’s not invincible nor the end all be all of observation.

Well, FS is just one of a few CoO techniques; there are sensing techniques or subconciously dodging something - and there are most likely advanced versions of these abilities as well. You can compare it with barrier haki; it's not good in everything but it definitely pushes your defense extremely.

FS is just extremely tricky when someone has to deal with his ability directly.

Luffy hasn’t outright shown the ability like Kata to accurately predict what a person is gonna say verbatim. The exchange with Kata, Oda made it seem like he did when they finished each other’s sentences or whatever, but couldn’t it just be him “knowing the intent” as in “I know what you’re gonna say” kind of thing, as in reading the emotions and knowing what you’re gonna say, as opposed to verbatim knowing exactly how he was going to word it. That ability is wholly unique to Katakuri. That exchange was meant to show how tuned in Luffy was to his person, not that he could quote his every word verbatim. He could sense his intent with what he was going to say, but not to the point of knowing every word that’s going to come flying out of his mouth. We have yet to see Luffy’s display that kind of FS. He can’t quote ***** like Katakuri

No, it wont. It may pop up here and there but not even close to what Katakuri was doing.
As @MarineHQ62 pointed out, FS and Luffy and like water and oil, the biggest mismatch One Piece created since 1997.

CoO is based on a user's ability to sense another's emotions, something luffy is good at. Simply because Luffy can get angry doesn't mean he would be a bad CoO user. I mean Sanji gets angry all the time and he's a CoO specialist.

I'm starting to think the reason you are so uncomfortable with Luffy having FS is because you know that it puts him out of Zoro's league.

No, no and no.
Being able to sense emotions doesnt affect his low up-time of doing so.
He isnt sensing the emotions constantly, he reads the personality(emotions) once and that's it.
Luffy is angry, all the time, that's one of main traits of his character. He was angry for 980 chapters and now you want something else...
Luffy will be Luffy, he wont change because of future sight...

Sanji isnt a CoO specialist, lol. Where did you hear that? It's just that of 3 haki branches he developed the most CoO and considering how bad his CoA is, it's not hard to outdo that level with CoO which certainly doesnt make you into a specialist.

Zoro is above Luffy and the fact that Oda is shoving PUs down Luffy's throat only tells me that Luffy is the one who wasnt good enough to keep up with the end-game. Zoro is fine and FS is crap on Luffy, nothing to worry about. It's just Luffy fans who overhype the MC when he lifts a finger and then get smacked by the club or Apoo and wonder why...

You know that Katakuri, the experienced FS user, couldnt deal with non-FS user who fights against such ability for the first time in his life, for 10 hours? What is overpowered about that? Plus, Katakuri had the logia like body and calm character which Luffy doesnt have...

Luffy never showcased FS in conjunction with Snakeman, nor did Katakuri show FS while attacking.

I've no problem with that. Guess FS is crappier than I've argued it to be. I give no shits about this ability, neither does Luffy it seems.

its not overrated
katakuri could make part of his body intangible
luffy and zoro both used coo and knew an attack was coming.
the not using coo excuse here doesn't work. he literally said I know before the second attack.
disguise was hard to move in, having a tangible body, not in a form that enhances speed (eg g2). he could see the attack coming and still not dodge it.
in general fs would be inconsistent due to plot and to make people who dont have that ability to still carry some kind of threat to someone like luffy. endurance is another thing thats inconsistent in the story but thats another argument.

Katakuri dodges Snakeman just fine, that’s how he manages to make like a little tip dance over to Luffy and then lands a hit with his heel. That was him applying perfect FS with an impeccable reaction speed, though I may have underestimated just how fast he is to do that. However, he can’t throw punches and use FS simultaneously, that’s just impossible as that actively changes the future outcome with every move he makes. He sees a definite future, but that prediction is null and void if he starts throwing punches which would in fact alter the parameters that were set when he made the prediction, now he suddenly starts altering the equation. Hence he can’t attack and simultaneously see a definite future outcome, that’s physically impossible

he told hyogoro 3 moves ahead of his opponent
I dont know what else you guys need to see to have luffy "confirm" his fs

part of the reason katakuri lost was snakeman was fast enough to get the hit in even with kats fs . its that simple luffy saw it coming but was unable to dodge it.
