As of late, I think I’d need 2 hands to count the amount of manga/anime I enjoy more than OP.

But if we’re judging all-time OP and not just Wano, then I would still say there are two manga that I think are better than OP overall.

The first I’ve seen a few others mention, and I’ll most definitely reiterate, is Berserk. For those who haven’t read Berserk, it’s certainly not a story that’s going to appeal to every audience due to the extremely heavy themes like violence, existentialism, introspection, existence, etc but for those who can stomach some of the more mature themes, Berserk is a story like no other filled with the most memorable fictional characters ever (imo). It is, in my opinion, a manga that transcends manga itself and sits in the realm of the greatest works of art in human history. It redefines what manga even are and what they can be, but I won’t elaborate on this here. To anyone who does not think manga can be art, I recommend Berserk.

The second has gained more attention recently but I think has still gone under the radar by the manga community as a whole, and that manga is Kingdom. If Berserk is a manga that transcends manga, then Kingdom would moreso be a manga that almost perfects what a traditional manga is. It is a much more digestible story than Berserk and this one I actually would recommend everyone read. I don’t have much else to say about it really, I think Kingdom is as close to a perfected manga as we may ever see. Subjective opinion lol.

I consider these two manga to be above One Piece at its peak, but there are other series I consider to be up there with OP like Death Note, Attack on Titan, maybe Vagabond, etc.

As for current OP, yeah lol. There are several other stories I prefer like MHA, One Punch Man, Black Clover, etc.

You tell me. At the risk of sounding like Andrewww, Kingdom was the 3rd highest selling manga in 2019, beating out heavyweights like MHA and the Promised Neverland:

And also, in my opinion:

OP is currently in the middle of the most disappointing story arc in manga/anime history, while Kingdom just finished, debatably, the most disgustingly awesome story arc I’ve ever read.

I voted yes. It has gone south in many ways lately, but it’s the goat.

There’s only one other I’ve read that I rate overall higher in quality, and that’s HxH. But seeing what a mess it’s release cycles have been over the past decade should give one more appreciation for oda’s consistency. He’s far from perfect, but his accomplishments eclipse all other mangaka to date. HxH is also nowhere near as fun.

Op is a manga I can always turn to if I want to relax. Oda manages to masterfully balance serious themes with humor and a message of hope. The world building is still top notch. His attention to detail, pacing and several other aspects are starting to drop, but one mustn’t forget that it’s nearly 1000 chapters long, with a huge amount of characters and many plot lines to be balance. Very few authors, period are able to effectively manage stories of its length and scope.

Opm, mha, and the other big ones are all decent in their own rights but they don’t stack up to op as complete packages.

Ive been meaning to pick up kingdom. It looks like it’s up there.

Totally forgot Kingdom in my post on page one.
So it's HxH, Jojo, Berserk and Kingdom I rate higher at the moment.

I really need to get around to reading Kingdom. I'm in a slow reread of Vagabond, and going through One Piece as well right now, but that's next on the list.

The biggest hype I've read for it is that Oda and all the other best selling mangaka fanboy about it on a fairly regular basis.

As for Demon Slayer, it was a good, enjoyable manga, brilliantly animated. It's absolutely phenomal success is a bit baffling to me personally, but I see the appeal. It's last chapter was rubbish though, have to say, and the final fight was a bit dissapointing- the main villain's subordinates were way more interesting than he was.

But I still like it way more than Shingeki no Kyojin, which I thought was absolute garbage that I gave up after about a hundred chapters.

I find your question quite difficult to answer. There are a lot of mangas to choose from but most of them are not really comparable.

I cant really compare shonen mangas like One Piece or Naruto, written for young males to seinens like Berserk or Vagabond, written for adults. The shonens can also divided in different sub-genres, for example, battle mangas like One Piece, sports mangas like Hajime no Ippo, sci fi mangas etc.

I also find it difficult to compare mangas such as One Piece, which has been serialized over a couple of decades against Death Note, which was serialized for only 3-4 years. The plot, number of characters, world building dramatically differs between mangas with 100+ volumes (One Piece) and 12 volumes (Death Note).

Its better to compare One Piece with shonens like Naruto, Bleach, Fairy Tail, Toriko, Black Clover, Nanatsu no Taizai, Dragonball, Hero Academia, Magi, HxH etc. Out of these the only two on a par with One Piece are Naruto and HxH. The new big 3 cant hold a candle to One Piece.

Naruto till the end of Pain arc is better than One Piece in my humble opinion. Overall One Piece is better because the 4th shinobi war of Naruto was shit. HxH is tricky, I think it has a slight edge over One Piece. However, for weekly reading One Piece is better than HxH:
I understand the flaws of One Piece and Oda. But why are you guys acting like Togashi is a perfect mangaka? Go to any HxH forums (if they exist) and see how miserable their fans are. I remember the HxH fans of Narutoforums started to comment on One Piece (typically they came to vent their frustrations) because there was no HxH chapters, lol.

To Oda's credit, he at least publish content regularly, while lazy fuck Togashi takes 2-3 years of break to come up with a good storyline. That doesn't always work though, as the current arc of HxH seems as bad as Dressrosa tbh, a huge number of characters with no real purpose.

Dont get me started on HxH drawing. In many occasions, Togashi draws a small panel and writes an essay as if it's a novel, not a manga. Its almost like a punishment to read those chapters. I havent read Chimera ant arc weekly, Thank God, I have heard from HxH fans they had to endure such abominations as art during the weekly release which were later improved in the main volume:

We should be thankful that Oda is publishing One Piece quite regularly compared to HxH.
Kingdom is a mix of shonen and seinen, so it is actually comparable to One Piece. I have been reading Kingdom long before it became so popular. I love the manga and I think its on a par with One Piece. But I didnt like the recent arc of Kingdom and would place One Piece slightly above.

TL DR: The answer is No. You cant really find any battle shonen better than One Piece for weekly reading.

Just a few suggestions here, if you are looking for something worth reading:
My list will be based on how much I enjoy reading the manga only and without taking the anime into consideration:

1. One Piece
2. Kingdom
3. Berserk
4. Slam Dunk
5. Rurouni Kenshin (I started with the anime, it could be higher otherwise)
6. Baki
7. Breaker (technically a manhwa)
8. Gamaran
9. Vagabond
10. Hajime no Ippo

Honourable mention: Kengan Asura, One Punch Man, Vinland Saga

The mangas that didnt qualify because I enjoy the anime more OR I haven't finished the manga completely are:
Naruto, Hunter x Hunter, Bleach, Death Note, FMA brotherhood, Gintama, Jojo, KnB, Hitman Reborn, Inuyasha etc

One Piece is a grand epic. There's no manga that is as large and interconnected as it is. Even manga with galactic level scope feel smaller than the world One Piece has crafted, and for that, its lore and world building are unsurpassed. Bare in mind, this was thought up by only one man. Even if you aren't fond of One Piece, what Oda managed to do is commendable.
True, when it comes to world building One Piece >> any manga
