The domain range effect would still be in play. In fact, this is probably why 15 finger Sukuna had no qualms fighting Gojo in the first place.

Plain and simple. The fact is, what broke Gojo's domain was directly an effect of Sukuna's domain. It ain't like sukuna told someone to break Gojo's domain from the outside or anything. Sukuna used his domain and that directly broke Gojo's.

If Gojo had a similar domain, this wouldn't have happened. So, Gojo had the inferior domain. And we know that weaker domains lose in a clash.

I guess teleporting out and healing himself is the way to go. It's only been 3 chapters so far, Hakari vs Kashimo laster longer and even Hakari was healing from worse. There is no way the fight is over, we'll be seeing multiple domain expansions - probably even an Open Barrier one from Gojo next time.
