I thought: "I don't like to think about politics".But I realized that this is impossible.

-When I read a book or manga or comic, it is loaded with some ideological bias.
-When I watch a movie or a cartoon, it is loaded with some political subtext.
-When I listen to a song, it is a critique of a certain class.

EVERYTHING IS POLITICS!!!!
That's something people usually don't understand. Every piece of fiction is politic. Simply because of the fact that a story only work when you put a vision within its structure, let me explain.

Stories are ALL about characters making choices. without that, there are no stories.
Those choices reflect a vision the author wants to portray about life.

For example, if a character make the choice to save the life or to spare the bad guy. The author is telling us "don't do justice by yourself, be kinder". This is highly political because it touch the way you must act in society.

In this instance, this is a good choice. So, what happen when you want to make your character do a BAD choice. Well, in that case you will use the story, either the tone of the story or it can be done by making a parrallel between your character's choice in relationship to other's developpement.

In Star Wars episode 3, Anaking is making ALL the bad choices. But the treatment clearly depict those choices as BAD with:
- Tone of the story
- Sad music
- The character of Obiwan
Etc..

All this process is political because it ALWAYS show a vision of the author how to act or not act in this case in life.

This is what politic is in its purest form.

Good to see you.How are you doing?

Aang sparing Ozai's life was a bad choice because Ozai went on to influence Zuko which we'll only find out about when we read the comics.
Clearly shows that Aang's strong connection to his culture's values had negative effects on the world's overall wellbeing which is literally what Yangchen told him NOT to do.

Sorry, I don't know this story :josad:
Read the comics.
The creators added this loVe yOur eNemY bs because they wanted a pacifist ending for their kids show.
Yangchen told Aang that the Avatar must value the world's wellbeing above his/her own spirirual needs, even as an Airnomad Avatar.
But Aang was a traumatised 12 year old kid who had lost all his people hence he chose his people's philosophy of non-violence.
By doing so he made the exact same mistake as Roku when he spared Sozin's life "for the sake of our past friendship".

Moral of the story: dangerous people must be dealt with and your personal feelings are 1000% irrelevant when the world's safety is at stake.

Hence Carrot being shipped away to oblivion proves that nobody likes SJW furries including Oda

This is a nuanced story. Ultimately she deserves punishment. I was actually born at that point of gestation, so it hits home how I could have easily been killed by this woman.

However, she is the sole caregiver for three children. Like the judge, I'd have ruled for leniency on an actual prison sentence had she confessed.

Ultimately, I like to say this: If women have the right to abort whenever, men should have the right to not financially support a child -- otherwise it creates a paternity trap.
However, I do not think abortion should just be denied to women. It's a delicate line. I absolutely do not agree with late term abortions.

I don't really like the argument: "My body, my choice," because at the same time, what about the rights of the unborn? :/

And here I came to talk about fascism in Italy that was welcomed by decades of proximity and normalization with Berlusconi.

Middle-school biology actually explains stuff about intersexuality and trans-identity

The only "problem" I have with the current vibe, if it is even a problem. Is that sexual attraction is a thing for me, while gender attraction doesn't make much sense. If I fuck a lady who wears a jean (originally made for people -usually men- working in mines), it doesn't make me gay

But whatever, thread got hijacked by the American obsession of the gender-talk. AGAIN.

Can't believe you're so gay you'd fuck a woman in jeans. :denzimote:
