Luffy looking and acting like a special needs kid.

Nami's wig looks ridiculously bad, couldnt the actress cut her hair and dye it red? With that said, emily rudd is cute af, love you baby.

Zoro, the bad part about japanese live actions is that anime characters dont look like japanese people so when it comes to those shows, they pick actors who look NOTHING like the character and try to sell it as if he looked japanese.

Usopp, different haircut and the absence of his long nose is bad.

Sanji without his curly eyebrows just isnt right.

Honestly going into this with zero expectations.

What I liked:

- I actually enjoyed Luffy and Zoro's chemistry I'm hoping the whole calling out named attacks comes back into play as we know Zoro is just as goofy in that regards and not hearing him shout Three thousand worlds or Lion Song would be disappointing.

- The Sea King looked fairly good.

- It appears they're at least being faithful to the manga with the arcs.

- The energy of the crew.

Things I'm not sure on yet:

- Luffy's dialogue. The whole sensing tension among the crew is so unlike Luffy he'd never pick that shit up.

- The backgrounds looked a little to CGI.

- Not giving Sanji his curly eyebrow.

The rest of the stuff I didn't mention I'm still just waiting before I have an opinion of it. I'm trying to be objective as we know a live action adaptation of an anime/manga is never going to be the same thing as the original so things have to be done differently... slightly but we'll see.

Because I've always watched Subbed it's going to take some getting used to not hearing Gomu Gomu No and hearing the other characters without their VA. If they do a Japanese dub I hope they get the original Japanese VA to do them.

I'll give it a 7/10 so far based on what I seen.

Hope Coby dies.

Why Oda wasting his time, OP is already big enough, no reason for him to waste his last few years on lending his time n effort unless he's really hungry for extra bucks
I pity the fool, he thinks this is his last oportunity to make one piece global but let me ask did dragon ball movie made it a global phenemon?

One Piece doesn't belong to Oda, it's a millionaire business; not even the actual manga belongs to him but the publishing house. He isn't wasting anything because he's more than likely no involved at all beyond the propaganda you will hear about "Oda-sensei approving" to attract dumbasses into the product.
