You've got a point about Oda falling off in quality and selling out more too (the Greenbull disrespect was pure film red shilling)
But Kishimoto is far worse in this regard. Look no further than the atrocity that is Boruto. Absolute clown show.
Even the final saga of Naruto was shit, but people get carried away by Madara and give it a pass
DBS is complete and utter dogshit.
GT was mediocre, but it didn't completely disrespect DBz and DB
DBS reduced super saiyan to "tingly feeling on the back"
Of all the things I've ever seen in anime in general, I don't think there was any moment where I ever felt more disrespected as a fan.

That was actually disgusting I'll have to agree. Even the kids of Goku and Vegeta obtaining SSJ was a bit of a stretch but the back thingy was something that I usually pretend that never happened. Outside of that and the... Dubious beginning (to say the least) Granola's and Moro's arc were quite enjoyable
It isn't even just that, it's just the most memorable moment of that shitshow.
Everything about super is trash. They made Broly into a sympathetic dude instead of a badass monster who went insane, and pretty much put him into a ship.

Krillin has been disrespected since forever it's honestly nothing new.
Regarding Broly, I'd rather have this version of Broly, which is somewhat understandable, instead of a dumb monkey (pun intended) who decided to murder everyone because he couldn't sleep as a kid. Like, what the fuck is that? At least current Broly is a character with a "real" personality. Z's Broly motivation for killing Goku was "he cried while we were babies".

But I don't even consider Boruto a story. Boruto is just a money grab. I put Boruto and One Piece in the same category as mangas that cater to marketing rather than actual story telling. And yes I agree the Naruto war arc was terrible and I was on mangafox forums back in the day ripping it as hard as I am with One Piece but now that it is over and I see what One Piece has become, it is even worse and yet the One Piece fanbase doesn't allow criticism.
In the Naruto forums there were lively discussions on how terrible the direction Kishimoto took, where even Youtubers were criticizing it but god forbid if it is One Piece, you aren't allowed to say anything bad.
