Sukuna was definitely taking the risky options according to Gojo himself, but that still doesn't change the fact that Gojo would have the upper hand in a domain battle when Sukuna uses his original powers. The most Sukuna can do is keep destroying Gojo's domains until one of them runs out of juice.

You seems to forget the fact that Gojo couldn't have made the small DE if he wasn't trapped in prison realm

Current Gojo isn't the same as BOS Gojo

It's adaptation

Sukuna and Gojo adaptation skills are top notch and were always here

So even if they had fight BOS both would have adapation skills and Sukuna would have been able to copy RCT healing Ct mid fight.

While BOS without prison realm exp, Gojo wouldn't have been able to make the small DE

The Prison Ralm experience didn't necessarily make Gojo stronger, it's just that he wouldn't have that quickly managed to pull it off if it weren't for the PR. Knowing Gojo, he'd have done it either way after getting his domain destroyed a couple of more times. It's not like altering the domain's conditions is a huge task for him. While having different experiences is definitely an advantage, you can't outright call it a power-up. If we're going that route, Sukuna's way more experienced than Gojo.

Tbh, Sukuna having information on Gojo's domain was a huge advantage for him too. The fight would've been dead even with domain spam if Sukuna doesn't have Megumi's power.
