To the first part, I think Zoro and Luffy were put together for a reason, to take on the big players, plus Zoro mentioned not getting too injured as well, his most underrated skill Post Time Skip has been his critical thinking

Zoro's past has yet to be revealed, i found it interesting that Yasu took immediate interest in high praise for Zoro and has never given anyone else that praise before, he also knew franky law and usopp were his pals. I think it has to do with either the Wado or Shusui, but he definitely saw something in zoro skill and strength wise

Agreed he and luffy should be fighting calamities soon. With Big Mom present in Wano I’m thinking Zoro will be the leading fighter against Kaido and Luffy will be the leading fighter against Big Mom since they’ve had unfinished business since FMI

Oda said he doesn't know how Luffy will defeat Kaido, so I don't think this is true. Luffy will probably land the final blow.

The only way Kaido can be defeated is by beheading him. If you defeat him you can’t just send him to impel down where he’ll escape yet again and terrorize wano. I’m speculating Zoro will cut his head off in dragon form so he can start his new legend as the 2nd Ryuma

I think this has some plausibility, but I don't think it's necessarily the most likely outcome. Not a single OP villain has died yet. Oda has also suggested that Luffy would be the one to defeat Kaido. Furthermore, on priors, Luffy defeating the arc antagonist is what you should expect. Zoro only did it once (Captain Morgan), and that arc was far less important than the Wano arc is. Zoro is unlikely to outshine Luffy here.

Wano is a unique arc tho where there are TWO main villains that need to be defeated. And as far as we know Big Moms rivalry with Luffy is much more deep rooted than Kaido (dating back to FMI and luffy promising to claim that territory as his). Everything what you’re saying would make sense if Big Mom wasn’t in the picture here. The stage is set up where Zoro WILL shine as much as Luffy in this war. The fact Oda pinned these 2 together to start this war is a huge sign for Zoros prominent role being as large as luffy in taking down BOTH yonkos.

He's the one that needs to be defeated. Big Mom might be defeated as well, she might survive to be a meme an antagonist in yet another arc. Either way, Big Mom hasn't done anything to the people of Wano. They are completely unaware of her existence. Her defeat will have no significance or impact to them.

Yeah she’s a meme but she’s going to be defeated by Luffy at the very least. And their beef will be done here. I am. I don't want Big Mom to continue to be an antagonist for three arcs, I'm not even saying that she most likely would not be defeated in Wano. Given the evidence on ground though, I can't deny that I have significant credence in her surviving beyond Wano.

Yep. East Blue Monster trio could neg Sea Kings, an Arabasta Zoro could throw a concrete house and was already hypersonic. He's probably enough.
