Serious speaking : Ben is probably stronger than every other YC1, probably at least as Zoro right now, but it's not a top tier as Admirals and Yonkous are. We saw back in MF that Kizaru went and did what he wants, the same Kizaru we might now see against Luffy.
If fact, I think it's quite established that the final war will be after Raftel (i.e. after Teach) and in that instance Zoro might face an Admiral.
Obviously, if one does not put admirals as top tiers he won't agree, but that is another (and old) question.

They not that far ahead that's a fact. Luffy went from one shot by ragnorku to going toe to toe with drunk kaido with JUST ACOC. (Same power zoro just got) and kaido is above most if not all the admirals. So if luffy does that with one power up the admirals are not 3 tiers above where zoro is now.
Ben is shanks Ray. And doesn't have a devil fruit. He's absolutely gonna need advanced hakis at this point. Or else he can't even compete with the yc1s below zoro.

Luffy got multiple power-ups to be able to challenge 100% Kaido: two levels of Ryuo, basic AdvCoc, sky-splitting AdvCoc, and finally G5.
All top tier can fight against the others, maybe losing, but fighting till the end and possibly gravely injuring the winner.
In the last chapter I think Oda showed us that the Admirals have exceptional physical qualities and haki too. Not only very strong fruits and probably awakening.
But we'll see what Kizaru can do against Luffy.

So much insecurities Shiryu is causing among admiral stans it's crazy many of you will be singing different tunes once his real abilities are bit more fleshed out. We didn't hear end of King slander before he displayed invincible lunarian abilities that haters still coping about to this day. History will repeat itself 
The fact you guys are making so many threads on shiryu while shiryu fans themself are more than satisfiee and also trying to prove Kuzan is stronger in the first place is funny when Shiryu is the one who won the exchange against Garp.
That is not how someone who is confident in their belief react. You wouldnt try to convince anyone if you truly believe what you write.

I was taking you seriously until yo said that about Mihawk, now I know you're just taking the chance to slander hiding behind a Shiryu avi.

- He will be Zoro's opponent.
This is not about wanking Zoro, but about being realistic. Will Zoro fight someone that inferior to a Yonko when Zoro has a foot in being Yonko level since the past major arc? These characters are supposed to keep getting stronger, so he doesn't need a weakass YC to stomp.
It's the same with Blackbeard. Going by feats, current Blackbeard gets folded by Luffy like it's not even funny, yet everyboy has no problem saying BB will somehow get stronger in the remaining time before they fight and be an actual menace to current Luffy, or that perhaps he already is despite his poor showings. Why is that so for BB but saying the same for his right hand man is "Zoro wanking"?

By the way Raiu might Indeed be a supreme blade.
And this chapter already showed us one reason shiryu was feared.
He had very strong armement haki, enough to overcome even top tier legend.
Shiryu was a haki Monster and with it alone was capable to equal Magellan and stop anyone from breaking in or leave Impel down.
Cant wait to see what else he had in store.
