calling oden a gary stu doesnt make sense either
he was built like that in wano
outside of it he met his match a couple times if not more than once.

its getting lame now
the character himself also made very poor decision like come on.

It's named impact. Direct correlation to garps impact attack.

Why would it not be? Why aren't all advanced coc air slashes called devine departure?
Have you seen a lot of advanced CoC air slashes around?

We are talking about master and student and, according to you, literally the same attack. I say it would be named the same.

Regardless, I also believe Koby won't show a Garp-level feat at this stage or it would actually make Amazon Lily, which happened immediately before this for him, look very stupid.

Still don't get your point.

Aokiji was also garps pupil. Don't see him naming any attacks galaxy fist or anything else.

A student paid homage to garps moves name but put a spin on the name to keep it original for himself. Ain't complicated bud

Power level is not the only thing that determine Gary Stu.

For exemple, Luke Skywalker is often considered a Gary Stu because he learned stuff that took normal Jedi decades in days. He was obviously not the strongest character but OT Luke is definitely a Gary Stue.

Gary Stues in stories aren’t even inherently bad, but OP ones are mad annoying.

ConquistadoR

The Rogue Prince
And? Ace and Jumbo fought for hours. Does that make them top tier? Just means that they were of similar strength is all.

Oda had already shown acoc in the oden flashback before. Do he had no reason for not showing kaido using it. He could have silhouetted kaido using his forms and stuff too.

But oda chose the weakest form for oden to get a hit in. That's the facts.
The whole point is Oden never got one-shot since they have been fighting for a while before that.

Oda was clearly holding back Kaidou's moveset and hence drew it like that. That doesn't mean Oden's weak.

Sure. Roger, who wanted to meet the samurai, and probably/definitely wanted to recruit him, used a full power attack. Lol

I don't care about Kid. Law wouldn't have gotten one shot like that.

And there's no indication of shanks' kamusari being weaker than Roger's lol.
Does Roger look like a person who pulls his punches to you?
Lmao he was itching to fight Whitebeard or Garp or Sengoku, basically strong guys he recognized.

This Samurai was one of them.

Kaido being top tier in the flash back is very debatable.
It really isn't.
Kaidou already "Crushed" Moria and established himself as the Ruler of Wano.

Ace is a victim of the series power creep and the length of op lol. He had the highest known bounty at the time of his death. If he had been alive rn, you bet bis bounty would be accurate to his strength.
It still doesn't change my point.

Ace wasn't a victim of Powercreep or any other nonsense, he is just underestimated by New Fans who think he is Who's Who level based on Bounty scaling which is ass.

YC are regarded highly by yonko themselves. With Shanks asking Marco to join him, BM asking King to join her, Kaido saying Jack was strong after getting blitzed by Sulong inu and meko etc...

They see YC as strong and capable fighters. Not this low level scrubs you try to paint them as being seen.
The weakest Admiral literally took a dump on two YC at the same time.
They really aren't all that, and having a low bounty only shows that Shanks just started off as a pirate which makes sense considering his growth.

Sengoku believed Ace will lead the New Era of Pirates.
Whitebeard believed Ace is the successor to Roger's throne.
Shanks believed Ace was strong.
Blackbeard & his crew hype Ace.
After seeing Onigashima Luffy fight and clashing with him - Yamato tells him that he reminds her of Ace.

Jinbe admits in the Ace Novels that he surpassed him, meaning bare minimum Ace was on the level of Sanji.

Ace very, very clearly wasn't weak lol. Had he survived the war & unlocked his CoC potential, he'd easily become one of the Strongest Yonko and was the natural next leader of the Whitebeard Pirates.
People 100% underestimate ace and in the process yami teach in the process
They were never fodder
