Hitler himself said his party had nothing to do with socialism and only said that to appeal to the people. North Korea is a dictatorship that can out you to death over a haircut but they call themselves a Democratic republic.
How does Lenin saying that the goal of socialism is communism means that MLK was a communist or wanted it?
Yet you’re always bitching about America and hate them. At least I’m cool with communist, I just disagree with them. You’re a legit unhinged when it comes to America
Not really. Socialism is that the community controls or has pull in the means of production and distribution. Communist is where everything is publicly owned and everyone only gets what those in power believe they need and nothing more. Under a communist dictatorship, the state or government owns all the property and controls the means of production. You don't own a thing.
American captitalism is completely unregulated and the properties and m3ans of production has been concentrated into the hands of a select few, making it very difficult for you to own anything. Sound familiar?
Capitalism needs some socialist breaks to prevent crazy exploitation and poverty. At least that way America can get mandated universal healthcare, sick leave, paid leave and maternity leave like many European counties.

In soviet russia there were little to no punishment for stealing from gov , they tried to created illusion of world where everything is everyones . You own nothing as everyone else and everyone has to share. The reality sadly wasnt like that.
Congrats, that is the definition of communism. What you stated just shows your aversion to calling it what it is lol. I get it, communist is a scary word, but it’s still mainly socialism

“Socialist breaks” is just conservative propaganda. Welfare state doesn’t directly interfere with capitalism nor is socialism. European countries are capitalistic just like the U.S

Socialist propaganda? Making a boogeyman out of anything not captialism is conservative propaganda lol. These systems gave worked before, it's just that American Corps doesn't wanna risk losing any power and focus on nations where communism and socialism was under dictatorship. Any system is trash under dictatorships.
Communism and Socialism are different, and I never denied that socialism is a baby communism. I'm trying to remove the dictatorship regime aspect from it that you seen to push if I'm not mistaken.
Yes European counties are capitalistic. Never denied that. But they have socialist aspects like minimum housing, Healthcare and education being mandated as a human need instead of a privilege like in America.
As for MLK, he was anti-capitalist and believed there needed to be a radical redistribution of political and economic power. Imo, we just need some mandates to give more worker rights and a bare minimum.

Communist is only ever slightly different that socialism is my point, that hammering a difference is kinda moot when they’ve been used interchangeably for decades. Also I’m pretty sure a dictatorship is possible in socialism.

Circle back to my second paragraph of the post you quoted. Those things are not really socialistic as long as there are private institutions, which most if not all European countries allow.
Are you perhaps misunderstanding? I was saying American Capitalism needs a dash of socialism to mandate some worker rights and give bare minimum to the people.

I blatantly said any system is trash under a dictatorship. Never said it wasn't possible under socialism.

Allowing the bare minimum according to one's needs is leftist. The state/government dictates what the private institution can or can't do by mandating things. The institution can't go against the mandates without punishment(unless you bribe). It's essentially saying that captialism has gotten crazy and needs to be dialed back a bit. Bernie Sanders for example isn't anti captialist and just believes Capitalism has gone off the rails and needs to be regulated more.
