Issue is if I remember well then we haven't discovered a single planet outside our Galaxy yet. They are hard to detect as they don't emit light like stars
Even in milky way we detected just more than 5000 so far out of billions estimated to be in the Milkyway itself.

that is something that always unsettled me. If the universe is ever expanding, could objects leave our observable universe? Have they done so already and we just don't know? What is outside our observable universe? more universes?
It depends on dark energy and energy density of our Universe.
As of now, due to dark energy universe is expanding with accelerating rate,...if this continues then gradually galaxies which we can see will disappear from our views and then there will be time when we won't be able to see anything. It will be dark...
Infact, if dark energy continues to rise then in distant future even our Milky way will be ripped apart and gradually all the stars, planets and even atoms.
This scenario is referred as big Freeze or Big Rip.
But if dark energy slows down or energy density increases then whole universe might collapse...
As of now, evidences are pointing towards Big Freeze - In trillion years from now apart from local galaxies everything else will disappear from our view point
